Wisner repeats or improves on what he did last year, and he's getting drafted

Not to mention games like Kentucky or multiple other games where he wasn’t able to elevate his team when Sark isn't able to scheme him a bunch of gotchas in the second half of games.
He’s not a playmaker, he’s not much of an improviser, and he didn’t take care of the football that well. Injury prone and overrated arm on top of that. Lacks charisma. I could go on, but who cares. He was a better option than Casey Thompson, Hudson Card, and Maalik Murphy.
He looked really good compared to the sub-mediocrities we had at the position before him (besides Sam). Thankful for his contributions, hopefully he continues to represent Longhorn Nation well.-

Even if your current weight isn’t completely your fault, you should believe it is so you believe you have the ability/control to get it back where it should be.
When you deflect the blame, you give away your power… yada yada yada

You’d assume Aaron Butler is halfway out the door after Bobby Burton called him out the other day, something Burton rarely does.
What did he say?

I don’t disagree that a young woman wouldn’t want unless I was paying. Which is the same with sharpe now.
You’re paying no matter what in the vast majority of cases.
He has more to offer than just money though. -
It’s easy to say that when they wouldn’t go anywhere near you.
All women of that ilk are capable of acting the way this woman is acting, no matter the age.
What a time to be alive.

Nah, but I’ve seen POS tall, charismatic, good looking guys who make no money and end up with overweight, average looking women.
I’ve also seen short to average guys with charisma with career and financial success with good looking wives (some of whom are taller than them lol) but I always respect what someone has done vs what they’re born with.

And they know it. It's so much fun when the munchkin losers try to be big. Whether it's with weapon, jacked up truck, or whatever makes them feel relevant.
They are the bottom of the gene pool.
What you are born with means jack shit compared to what you do with it.

That Houston db seems like a best available portal kind of guy we should target.
We passed on him once, we’ll probably pass on him again. He’s more of a run-stopping/box safety.

He doesn't what the level?
Sumbitch seemed (seems?) plenty fast and able to get open. If the drops were basically just lack of concentration, and his attitude and effort are up to snuff, I wouldn't mind giving him June and July to show out and give Arch another reliable target.
But, meh, you're prolly right...
He’s a really good receiver, but he wouldn’t get on the field over here soon enough to stay focused. He needs to go somewhere smaller where he gets plenty of PT while finding his edge as a player, then if he becomes a big time contributor, he can transfer back up.

Scar looked like the better defensive team last night. They also had more people who could break down our defense 1 on 1. They passed better than we did. They shot lights out. When they missed, especially down the stretch, they seemed to get offensive rebounds from them and make their second chance opportunities.
Our guys seemed weaker, slower, less athletic, and eventually, less physical. 3 of our 4 losses this season were to this same team. Not bad, good fuel going into the offseason.
Great season, ladies.

I’ve been buying Parker all along.
Same. He’s got above average hands, long arms, runs decent routes, and has breakaway speed once he gets going. He’s very tall as well.
He’s gonna have all the attention now, so whatever breakthrough he was having is gonna get extra fuel.-

No, it's because his family wanted him at LSU.
Then Brian Kelly imploded in a post game, they looked like shit, and the family reconsidered after a less than stellar visit.
Texas was telling him safety or CB the whole way. This staff isn't stupid enough to take a hard like stance on a kid this physically gifted and athletic. Safety isn't a position you want to force a guy who doesn't want to play it. It has a much more cerebral aspect to it than outside corner.
Pretty sure Kade grew up liking LSU. His parents, dad especially, are UT fans.
LSU was also corner all the way. Texas was more safety, but you'll get a chance at corner if you want to try. They softened it until he flipped, then basically went hard corner and other things to get him to flip back.

Alexander Herrera congrats on jumping to #1 on Helo’s recruiting board.
2028 kid to look out for is that Jai’Storm Caballero from Judson. Cool name, and he was on the varsity last year as a 6’8 320 lb freshman. He and Kaiden Scott from Roosevelt are putting northeast San Antonio back on the football map.

Wishful thinking. Arch is definitely a gunslinger right now, he’s also an athletic gunslinger who is more accurate downfield than Quinn.
His first pick against ULM was one of the worst you’ll ever see. He also threw a few more into coverage by trying to thread the needle when it really didn’t have to.
-
We expect Arch to be an upgrade over Quinn in general, but what if he’s more turnover prone in his first year as a starter than Quinn? I think he’ll be better overall than 2024 Quinn.
Some growing pains will likely happen.
I expect Arch to light up Ohio State, sparking a media frenzy, then he’ll come back down to earth by the middle of the season. I hope he regains momentum by the end of the season to give us a strong shot at the playoffs, if not making a deep run in them.
The defense will almost certainly be the strength of our team again this year.

Mike Brown is actually an aggy legacy IIRC
He’s pretty good

Can't turn a hoe into a housewife.
On a more serious note, hopefully he is cleared of any wrongdoing before losing his opportunity in KC.

He totally borrowed Kyler Murray’s traction machine.
Quinn looked like a Keebler Elf next to Maalik Murphy & Arch in that homoerotic shirtless photo in the weight room 2 years ago when they were flexing.
#NoCookies
Not sure if joking, but Quinn measured 6-2 1/8" and he looks it. Arch and Maalik are huge.

Yea that sounds like lingering sour grapes from the Underwood situation. Pretty sure our QB coaching situation hasn’t and isn’t likely to change by the time Bell signs, so it would have to be a post signing day situation.
