Bartender: Hello sir, what can I get you to drink?
Customer: I'll take a beer.
B: *staring back at customer waiting to be told what kind of beer*
C: *stares blankly back at bartender*
B: So you just want me to surprise you, or do you have a preference?
C: Oh...give me an UltraMy dad started doing this all the time when we'd go to dinner and it drove me crazy.
Except when the bartender or waiter asked what kind of beer, he would seriously say "...a COLD beer".
Then I'd have to jump in and tell the staff "goddamnit, just get him a Shiner Bock"

Apparently he's not a big fan of getting pickpocketed. Or maybe he is?

You should definitely post about it on Nextdoor so your entire neighborhood can start throwing around theories. Get all the olds in your hood all worked up about it, and they'll find out what the hell is going on before too long.

Wade Boggs: 64 beers
I thought Charlie already broke that record on the cross country flight with The Gang from Philly to LA.

Yes, compared to all the roadways in Texas, that's "a lot". Sure, roll with that.

Don't know where you're staying in Paris, but Saturday morning wake up early and walk outside your hotel. Find a bakery. Get a good cup of coffee and a chocolate éclair.
If you only have one day free and it's a Saturday I don't know that I'd mess with the Louvre. If the weather is nice just wander the city, it's amazing. The best days I have ever had in Paris had absolutely no plan or agenda. Other than the éclair in the morning. That is a must, every morning. So good.

There are a couple of tricks to keep the turkey skin from looking blackened. I think some people will put cheesecloth on the bird at a certain temperature. I found that if I give it a very light coating of oil before putting it on the smoker then the bird only gets to a dark brown that looks really good.
Basically I think if you're smoking it at the right temp (300, not low and slow 225) then it should finish before it gets that unappealing look. But as stated above even if it looks burned, the meat will be delicious, especially if you brined it.

You don't have to slam on your brakes and slow down to 40 miles an hour just because a cop pulled over some dumbfuck. There's a law where you have to either pull over to another lane or slow down 20 to 30mph under the speed limit if an emergency vehicle has their lights on
Let's clarify because this is important. You have to move over IF YOU CAN...OR you have to slow down to 20 mph under the speed limit.
If you're traveling in the left lane you don't need to slam on your brakes. You're already obeying the law. And you shouldn't have to slam on the brakes at any time because you can usually see the fucking emergency vehicles from a mile away, since this is Texas after all and we don't have a lot of winding mountain highways with low visibility.

Didn't Spieth do Texas BBQ for his dinner?

The people who swing by your office at 530 to chit chat. Bro, ain't my fault you hate your wife and don't want to go home. I'm leaving.

I flew HKG to DFW in January, and had premium economy which actually wasn't as terrible as I expected. I was dreading that flight especially since I had been in business on the way there. But with a window seat in Prem Economy I was able to get comfortable and throw down some red wine to get sleepy.
It helps if you stay out in Hong Kong until 4am and barely get any sleep before your flight home. The best feeling ever is when you sack the hell out on a long flight, and then wake up to find you only have like 3 hours left on your 15 hour flight. That was amazing. I felt like a time traveler.

The students need to look in the mirror and ask themselves why they breed shooters and they and not the teachers are the primary targets. But that’s a shitty hashtag to make.
Jesus Christ this is a completely idiotic argument.
I hope that you're just a terrible writer and didn't mean to suggest that other high school kids are to blame for kids shooting up schools.

I have been to Prague. Granted it was a long, long time ago. But I thought it was great, and even as a starving student I could eat and drink like a king there at the time.
I am not entirely opposed to returning there.

Anchor of the trip is Budapest June 9, 10, 11. I have the 12th-16th free before I have to fly home on Jun 17. Where do I go from Budapest? I have been to most of Western Europe plenty so I'm interested in new places. Basically draw a line down Germany, Czech, Austria, Italy and I've been everywhere west of there and nowhere east of there.
I was thinking about going up to Bratislava for a day or so and then to southern Poland...Krakow? From what I've heard so far, Bratislava isn't good for much more than a day, but if I'm heading north it seemed like a decent diversion.
Or I could head to the Black Sea. Or just hop on a plane from BUD-FCO and spend the rest of the time in Rome. While I have been to northern Italy I have never been to Rome.
I like seeing cool shit, activities, good looking women, good pubs. I generally prefer big cities to getting out into the mountains or some village with 65 people in it.

Man, it sucks that PilotsError found his way to the new site. Usually when you move you leave the refuse behind in the dumpster. Couldn't someone have told him the new website address is tubgirl ?

A sign of a really good bartender is not having to give them your name again after your first order.
I get it if you're in a super popular huge place they're not going to remember everyone, but if you're in a neighborhood joint and you have to tell the bartender your name after every round, that bartender is lazy as fuck.
