  1. I liked the shield. My buddy had one. For the price now they are a great value too. The gen 1 had a gritty trigger and ran ~$500. Like the M&P full size, I think the gen 2 had an improved trigger and much less expensive.
  2. Watched last night. Good flick. Not toy story or cars or monsters inc. by that I mean I doubt there will be a sequel and I doubt they’ll create a new wing at disneyworld based on it, but it was a good story.
  3. Every time someone mentions commercials I think of the Aiwa Another one bites the dust.
  4. Yeah. Something. I was trying to fall asleep but kept up all the way through it saying “what the...” It was different.

I also have a mess of multi-tools and dremels that I use when sanding or cutting woodworking projects. They are handy and make quick work. I do have some Bosch stuff and they are very well made. Sander, edge router, another 12v set I keep in the house for quick repairs. Having owned 5 different 12v sets, I can firmly say the Bosch seem to be the best made (my opinion) and are smaller than the competitor without losing power, but Milwaukee has the best options for around the house and garage. And a 12v is tough enough for any homeowner. I used my rigid set to take apart a playscape I bought off Craigslist and re-assembled it including lag bolts. 12v are serious tools these days, especially brushless. As for the Bosch multi click system, Milwaukee has one too but I’ve owned something similar in the past. The individual tools will likely be better than a “do-it-all” system. I usually only used the circular cutter from this set to break down cardboard. I never used the other tools as I had better versions of each tool.

I’ve tried a lot of different power tool brands and Im not a tradesman so my experience is worth squat but I’ll share. My first were nicad Craftsman tools and when those hit the crapper I had to replace. My first were Makita 12v and 18v drill and impact driver sets. They worked fine but their lineup for 12v was limited and I think they have gone through a battery change since I had a set. I then got some Rigid 12v and 18v drill and impact driver driver. They were fine but the 12v lineup was limited and the 18v weren’t brushless. I replaced the 12v with Milwaukee and I’m glad I did. Lots of options. Easy to use, lightweight and plenty of power for the tasks. I replaced my Rigid 18v with brushless when they introduced gen5 and then added other tools in the lineup. The fan and blower get the most use but the impact driver and hammer drill and beasts.
  8. I went to the new range in round rock Shoot Point Blank off 45 till near greenlawn. Seems nice. $20/hr or membership (basic membership $20/month; 25% off for veterans). The grand opening offer was 75% off the first month. So I signed up for a membership and it was like $4. There is also an annual fee of $5 for a liability waver. If I go once a month it’ll be cheaper or close to the same as Reds. If I don’t seem to make it that often, I’ll have to cancel the membership. The lanes are what you’d expect, just not very long. Perfect for pistol time. Their gun selection for pistols is pretty good. I liked their inventory of CZs and it was good to see some popular cheap models like Rock Island armory and Canik. They had ammo and like the guns, the prices were close to retail. No huge discounts. I think transfer fees were high.
  9. Just got word from Tulemar. Borders closing. Reservations need to be rescheduled. Let’s hope I go eventually.
  10. Cheers. Night court. Cosby show. (For me) The jokes they set up for Bull were great and I think of them all the time. Just the other day I bought a lottery ticket and thought about Bill getting 5 out of 6 numbers .... again.
  11. Got plans to go end of April. Weighing it still. Covid19 update at Tulemar just like was mentioned
  12. For tours and such, are $100 bills I’m accepted or should I bring $20s
  13. Buy the interior you want. Trade for the others.
  14. Love my tundra. If you are into leasing this seems great. I plan on owning for 10 years so not for me. This thinking about this, Tundras have the worst gas mileage.
  15. Yeah. I’ve put that in my amazon cart a few times and never pulled the trigger. Looks great but the overall package also seems lacking. G10 and some upgrades at the same shape would be perfect.
  16. Ive shot a beretta m9. It’s good. I own a 226 and CZ75. Really like both but enjoyable range time I lean to the CZ75. It fills the hand well and the trigger is great.
  17. They did build 1911s for a while. They had two models for sure the Spartan and the Trojan that were. One was made my armscor in the Philippines. The other I thought they made. I had one and longed for the other.
  18. For those near an outlet mall, the brooks brothers in round rock had most everything half off. Shirts. Pants. Ties. Through Christmas Eve.
  19. I did suit supply for an interview. I got the job and probably should get a few more. Might go by Nordstrom Rack first and get something tailored. I like the suit supply suit but I’m not sold they are exactly what I want for every suit.
