  1. But he plays for the Spurs now. Automatic fluffing
  2. Republicans to US citizens and "good ones"
  3. You can also add in: California is trying to solve their homeless problem, or at least lessen it. Texas doesn't give a flying fuck about trying to solve anything, except to criminalize it. And their mayor is a Republican in sheep's clothing. Go look at Denver for what a successful campaign to try and solve the issue looks like.
  4. Can't be. They have the best, most talented roster EVAH and are going to surprise everyone and finish 16-0 and win every position player award.
  5. Wednesday, season 2, part 1 dropped 4 episodes
  6. Oof @ Tenn/@Ala back to back @ Auburn / @ OU back to back @ aggy / @ arky back to back SEC went no lube on our road schedule
  7. Would be a good, albeit comfort, hire but a guy who knows Mike pretty well Also hoping Steve leaves the rest of the staff alone!
  8. HS and suburb fight!
  9. Does not sound like Suns to Boston is a done deal. Houston and Tillman may make a play for them as well after being left out of the initial expansion plans
  10. Most Peggy Hill line she has ever said on this show. Such confidence to call yourself mid af without realizing it
  11. College basketball does this too. “X team returns 4 starters who averaged 25 mpg” From a team that was 13-19. So, yay?
  12. You people bitched about Taylor swift and look what you got
  13. This reminds me of those “returning starts” metrics and it’s like, returning crap is still crap.
  14. It really had its moment on food competitions about a year or two ago. If you watched food network at all, it was mentioned like all the time on competition shows
  15. I only know because someone sent it to me this morning - Pax 41, Cornyn 28, Hunt 17. Which came from the Tribune.
  16. Cornyn is going to lose so bad to Ken Paxton, so it doesn't really matter for him. And it is going to cost a lot closer to a billion dollars than 350 million or whatever. But the regime will tell us it cost even less than that!
  17. I cannot believe the wokeist Dummycrats who run Alabama allowed a drag queen ring in rural bumfuck Alabama That is supposed to only be in big cities in blue states!

    Texas Women's Soccer

The SEC preseason poll last year came out right around mid-August (August 13) so we should be coming up on that pretty soon The United Soccer preseason rankings has Texas 19th. Based on where other SEC schools are ranked, they predict a top 3 finish for us, but 2-3-4-5 are pretty bunched together. Arkansas looks like the class of the conference Arkansas is 6th, Vanderbilt is 17th, MSST is 20th, South Carolina is 21st and Georgia/Auburn/Kentucky are all receiving votes Texas finished 3rd last year, behind MSST (undefeated in conf play) and Arkansas (1 loss, 1 tie)
  19. Is the OU roller coaster like the ones you see at some small county fair? That fucker is about to fall apart and the guy running it has 3 teeth, is smoking meth and his fat wife is hanging out nearby with their 8 kids.
  20. Someone with teenage kids needs to investigate what comedy movies from the last 10 years that their peers are quoting. Because our data is extremely out of date. Because we are old. And we have no idea what the youths like or watch.
  21. It's been 7 years since GT stopped running triple option. That was a Paul Johnson thing and he retired in 2018
  22. Yep. That's the big one - it's super fucking easy to get from Connecticut to Boston. You can take a car or mass transit. Connecticut is such a small state that most of the Suns' natural fanbase is probably already centered in Boston. There's a reason UConn is playing BYU in Boston this season - it's naturally where most of their alumni probably are (besides NY) due to proximity. And even Suns fans who may live in NYC can get to Boston easily. I totally understand why the league put the Suns in Connecticut to start back in 2003 after moving from Orlando - UConn was on the rise as a power in WBB, having won titles under Geno in 1995, 2000, 2002 and would go on to win in 2003 and 2004. Very similar to LOVB putting teams in Austin, Madison and Lincoln - big volleyball fan bases via college. Same with the likelihood that AUSL, once they decide where to put their teams, will probably put one in OKC and one in Alabama. The league has blown up in popularity though, so you don't have to keep the Suns in Uncasville, when Boston is 100 miles away - bigger market wins the day.
  23. Most of them are, but a big chunk make perfect sense - DEN, AUS, PHX, LAX, DFW, etc. Some of them are just dumb when the code aligns with the airport name and not the city name. People confuse IAH/HOU because the HOU one is the small, 95% domestic one and IAH is the big international hub. Neither of New York's airports contain NY/NYC in them, same with Chicago. It's basically like learning another language.
