    Any day now @Pokoloco
  2. What? No. They are onboarding more renewable energy because that is what private entities are offering to build. The projects coming online now have been in the works for years. This is not some secret plan, it is the market doing its work despite the political rhetoric. The economics of renewables are simply better.
  3. Keep in mind, Powell is crazy. I think we need to be skeptical of anything she says.
  4. AIM 260. I believe Ukraine already has been provided AIM 120 variants for use in the NASAMS air defense system. I assume, but don't know, those AIM-120s could still be used by aircraft like the F-16 with minimal work.
  5. Other than them generally being more expensive to purchase, it seems like a good idea to me. There isn't as much stuff to maintain, so the car ignorant can't do a lot to break it. Common pitfalls for new car owners like brake pad and oil changes aren't really thing (you still technically have to check the brakes every once a while, but they shouldn't get much use). The one thing I would be careful about with a teenager is the extra power most EVs have. That has the potential for getting a new driver in trouble. Look at locking it in chill mode or whatever depending on the manufacturer you go with. If she is charging at home, I can't see range anxiety being an issue. But if she'll be driving between cities fairly often, you'll probably want to go with either a Tesla or a Ford at this point (since Ford now has access to the super charger network). Other manufacturers will be getting access to the super charger network overtime, but until then relying on the other networks, primarily Electrify America, can be a bit hit or miss (should get better over time based on legislation).
  6. This is another one of those every accusation is a confession sort of things isn't it? If he isn't in prison for pedophile right now, I'm pretty sure we need to report him to the FBI.
  7. Probably, yes. I'd say two of them took it to give Trump near blanket immunity and two for delay, but to ultimately rule against him.
  8. The primary problem is the timing. I think the most likely result is affirming the appellate decision. Frankly, this was always getting to the Supreme Court, whether now or on appeal from trial.
  9. If it really was going all out for him, it would have taken the appeal earlier and have granted him immunity by now.
  10. To be fair, that is pretty typical. Taking things out of order is the atypical way to approach it.
  11. The motion is really something. It does spend a little bit of time directly addressing the issue of sufficiency of the partial bond coupled with ongoing monitoring. But mostly it regurgitates Trump's position that nothing was done wrong, there were no victims, and no evidence that any financial statements were false.
  12. This is the start of the cyborg revolution.
  13. Amazing. I like how the article takes that as a real thing and not an indication that the poll is fatally flawed. Polling just doesn't work if the population doesn't want it to work.
  14. The point I was making is that those ideas reference/are derived from some objective point of reference. Mathematics is based upon an observed relationship, not a mere flight of fancy. To those that believe in natural rights, they too have an external reference point.
  15. No, no it isnt. Do you think gravity existed before we thought of the concept? Do you the relationship between a circle's circumference and diameter existed before we termed it pie? Or do you think reality isn't a thing except to extent perceived by a sentient being?
