  1. Haven't seen much of the team this year, but if it's true that Arch is just missing wide open receivers and throwing the ball at their feat against UTEP, that's a massive red flag. You can explain away a poor performance in the horseshoe, but a guy in his 3rd year on campus should not be this bad against UTEP. If every other qb on the roster is really 10-straight-incompletions-against-UTEP bad then Sark is stealing money from the University. I don't want to believe Sark is actually that incompetent, so I have to assume he's being stubborn leaving Arch out there. If the defense is still elite then I say we roll with Caldwell and hope he can be an average, functional, college qb. Can't let Arch dick around against another cupcake and then try to throw someone else into the fire in conference play if Arch sucks it up again. Beat OU, Arky, and Aggy and ideally don't lose to anyone except Georgia and I'd consider this season a success at this point, because based on what I've heard, I'm fearing a 2010 level collapse.
  2. Simms generally feasted on inferior competition
  3. In Europe and haven't found a reliable stream. But I think it's safe to say things are going well?
  4. I'm just gonna pretend it's still for 9/11
  5. Yep. Guys like Limbaugh and Murdoch have been setting the table for this for a very long time. Rage and a shit ton of projection.
  6. At this point I've stopped being foolish enough to think we've hit rock bottom. Less disappointment that way. This is decades of ignored issues in America coming home to roost and it's gonna take decades to unfuck
  7. Pretty sure that dude is just being willfully ignorant at this point.
  8. I've calmed down since yesterday, but after that offensive performance I'm way more worried about Gainesville than I was previously. And after 2 blowout losses in 3 years, you can bet your ass Venables is probably going all in on Dallas this year.
  9. Yeah. As long as he keeps putting us in position to fuck up in the redzone in high stakes games, we'll just have to keep rolling the dice and just hope one day we luck out and two or three different plays go our way to get us the rest of the way. Better than being TCU's bitch. It is baffling to me however, that with the gigantic support staffs they have available these days this particular problem persists year after year. You'd think someone that gets paid millions to coach could fix it in a single offseason.
  10. If only ohio state hadn't of had that extra cupcake before they got us...
  11. I don't see why his performance against shitty teams holds so much weight for you. Casey Thompson looked great against fucking Rice. The expectations coming into this year were a championship run. IDK what you saw from Arch that indicates he will get it done against serious competition.
  12. That would only make things worse. They'll run with the "soft" narrative. Remember Mack taking over questions for Simms?
  13. Vince also flashed big time in that game against number 1 OU. Arch has been on campus longer than VY was at that point, and has had a hell of a lot more resources than VY ever had, yet he hasn't flashed against any team of quality.
  14. Guess I owe Quinn an apology. You never appreciate them until they're gone.
  15. I don't think that type of collapse is out of the question. I don't see this offense scoring much against anyone in conference play and eventually the defense is just going to tire out.
  16. Revenge for 2023. Well, at least the day isn't a total loss. Fuck Bama.
  17. I hope I am. But I have a difficult time seeing us win anything of note when we managed a single garbage time touchdown against a team with a brand new DC. What do you think Kirby is going to do to us?
  18. What big game has Sark won against a team with roughly equal talent since Bama?
  19. The national championship program. Not team. I get that they're still ultra talented, but they're breaking in a lot of new faces and Texas had the more experienced QB and more overall continuity on staff. If this game was in November, different story, but the fact that they couldn't get the job done against them early on doesn't inspire confidence for later in the year.
  20. Haven't posted in over a year, but the wife is already threatening a divorce over my venting. Here in Europe and I had to work, so I've only been able to see the boxscore. WHAT THE FUCK HAPPENED!? 7 months and our supposedly offensive genius HC and his 5 star qb that's been on campus for two years manage a single touchdown against a team breaking in a new DC? FML. Sark peaked in September of 2023. We've done jack shit against anybody with a pulse since then.
  21. My favorite part is how entitled they are. Their feelings are hurt because nobody has them finishing top 5 in the SEC this year. Dominating a po-dunk conference that bent over backwards to help them out because they were the foil to mean ole Texas really has gone to their heads.
  22. I thought that had more to do with ole buttertits?
  23. So corn aggy gets jilted and og aggy gets another goof as their AD? I approve.
