  1. To me, they were both ultimately good, not great, college QBs. Hoping Arch can step up to the "great" pedestal next season or in '26, and that might be what we need the most to get back to the promised land.
  2. Don't fucking start that shit here and now. It was beaten to death this past week. Plus you're wrong.
  3. How fucking big was that TD at the end of the first half? My God. Nightmares of the same shit happening several years ago against USC. Take away that play, and there's a great chance that the game is tied at the end instead of Texas being down 7. Could have kicked the FG on 4th down and probably won the game. Coulda, woulda, shoulda . . .
  4. Helluva missed opportunity, because I think we would have beaten Notre Dame. Now I'm really depressed.
  5. Yeah, I was re-reading my post and thought I should have added something about the fact that Sark didn't get it fixed over the course of the season is pretty damning. Part of it is an attitude thing on the part of the O-line, and part of it is deficiencies in schemes, IMO. Whatever the causes were, this team was not good on the ground in the RZ for basically the entire season, and that ultimately falls at Sark's feet.
  6. Yeah, that's what happens when you stare down a receiver over the middle, Quinn. Appreciate all you did at UT, QE. But at the end of the day, you were only a good college QB, not a great one. It's Arch's time now.
  7. This offense has been bad running in the RZ the whole year, and it caught up to us.
  8. Cam Williams getting his ass beat badly in pass pro was obviously a huge problem on 4th down as well. But the offense NEVER SHOULD HAVE BEEN IN THAT POSITION.
  9. Sark, your shitty second down call caused that.
  10. Gotta make plays on the ball when the opportunity presents itself.
  11. Looked like Penn State #29 could have come in low, wrapped up the legs, and taken Love down while the other PSU defender was wrestling him up high. Instead, he blindly fires in without wrapping up, completely misses Love, and impedes his own teammate's efforts to make the tackle. Meanwhile, Carter comes over the top without wrapping up. Really poor tackling fundamentals + great effort and balance by Love = touchdown.
  12. That's a good development for Minnesota.
  13. Hope you're okay, Bruin, and I hope your house makes it unscathed. Watching the Altadena fire on TV, and it looks terrible. Evac order is all the way down to just north of where I used to live in Pasadena. There are a ton of homes in danger.
  14. I knew you would come out of the weeds to take your shots at Darnold after this game. Predictable. You were nowhere to be found for the last 6-7 weeks for some reason.
  15. Aggy: That's cuz our guys physically beat the tar out of the Domers the week before and they were a shell of the team that miraculously beat the fightin' Texum Aggies, ya stoopid sip!
  16. Yep. It was a 100% certainty that a thread along those lines was going to be created. Death, taxes, and aggy delusion.
  17. Tessitore is terrible with his over-the-top dramatics on a regular basis, and I hold that opinion regardless of whether Texas is playing well or not. Palmer can be annoying at times, but I can deal with him.
  18. Will Stone can't be *that* bad at kicking FG's, can he? He needs to be the kicker
  19. Tessitore is such a beating. Mute engaged again
  20. Iif Sark lets Bert kick again, he should be shot
