  1. Also our starting qb is from the first family of Louisiana.
  2. I think back at all the drops in crucial moments and I am perfectly fine with bringing in a #1 receiver.
  3. If I was him, I would look for a fresh start at a top program with an established qb for his last year in college.

I like how the helicopter pilot got out with no mask on. If everyone is about to die from fumes, the dude who can fly the chopper probably shouldn't do that.
  5. It looks like Barkley might be washed. It wouldn't be the first time it happened to someone after a 2,000 yard season. If that's the case, I don't think they will suddenly turn it around.
  6. Yeah, but he would still be the No 1 pick if he came out this year.
  7. Seems like outrage in search of a reason.
  8. I think it's because his family is a strong believer that it's important to enjoy the college experience while you can and also that you need 25+ college starts before you're ready for the NFL.
  9. There's no doubt in my mind he would be no 1 if he came out this year.
  10. All I heard was Max's engineer say that Norris had passed Kimi and wondering out loud if he let him do it on purpose. It was a bit out of the blue, so I could see why it would maybe raise an eyebrow for a second until you saw what happened.
  11. It's fairly easy to avoid flight trackers now when they want to. He didn't want to.
  12. Yes, but it's still an assumption. The committee won't have absolute proof like they did with FSU.
  13. A key difference was FSU played in the ACC championship game without their QB and their offense looked like complete ass. They barely beat a bad Louisville team. That hasn't happened with Ole Miss.
  14. Ohio St was desperate for a tackle going in to this season. Someone always is. You bring in a tackle to compete with him and you are just about guaranteeing that you will lose him. He's good enough and it's not worth the potential issues it would cause. There are other positions that are a much higher priority. Last year if they wanted to try something like that at Guard, it would have made sense. It doesn't make sense at tackle this year.
  15. And then any contending team who needs a tackle will go after Baker.
  16. It's real hard to bring in someone in the portal to be a backup.
  17. I don't think anyone is going to try the fairness method again when it comes to handling teammates competing for a title after seeing how it played out for McLaren. Then again most teams probably already knew it was a bad idea. It still probably would have worked out fine if Red Bull didn't fire Horner mid-season.
  18. If he threatened to raid their staff and players if they didn't let him finish the season, that would have pretty much ended the talks.
  19. I would blame the team here. They made a bad choice in the beginning that brought about the worst possible result for them in the drivers championship.
  20. That isn't a small 3rd down back.
  21. Yeah, but I don't like to say it's for certain because of mechanical issues or other crazy things happening.
  22. If Wisner was either bigger or faster, he would be a really damn good back. But he's not, so he doesn't have the top end speed to take advantage of his agility and vision or the size to get more yards on inside runs and in short yardage situations.
  23. McLaren could very well lose a race where they had the 2 fastest cars, started 1-2 on the grid and neither car had a wreck or mechanical problem.
  24. It makes sense because it takes 2-3 years for someone to get strong enough to hold up inside. It's easier to just find someone in the portal every year that you know can play than taking a handful of high school players for the spots every year to ensure you have starters and depth every season.
