  1. Someone could make a video about that AP... but your description in the thread and the videos title doesnt match its content.
  2. Local warming concerns
  3. i swear to god, in another dimension i just wrote this post, 99% word for word except for 'montana'. next time i will tell her it starts 1 day earlier than the actual date, so her packing would actually be ready when we need to leave. her excuse for not having the packing ready? she has to spend lots of time doing a full clean of the house before we leave. and what is the first thing that she does when we return? another full clean of the house. (WHY?!!?!?)
  4. fire and co2 detector devices are a conspiracy by the Big 9V Battery industry. change my mind.

    3D Printing

Prusa is introducing a mobile-based front end app for 3D model slicing. Really easy to send print instructions from your phone (through a cloud based slicing engine) to your printer. It's invite-only for now while they're refining it. https://blog.prusa3d.com/prusa_easy_print_on_phone_tablet_110894/

  7. Despite the title, he didn’t use FSD. In the different video rolls, he either used an older functionality (AP) from a different tech stack, or none at all. Luminar, the Lidar company whose employee was in the video helping produce the test, promoted the video on its webpage. And then they immediately took it down.
  8. We just took a ferry and slept like this, in the largest cabin available. Neither used the bunk.
  9. Tesla reported $36B of cash and $1B of net digital assets, using last reporting date is ~10,000BTC. Total assets $122B. Marking to current prices for crypto reduces that down to $895M of net digital assets, reducing their total assets to $121.9B.

  11. Exactly who owns the debt is a fairly meaningless quibble. The bonds are payment obligations. If the bank of japan doesnt get the money its owed, instead of the SS office, or a pension fund, or a private investor, i'd say it's almost equally as bad.
  12. Just remembered how when I first moved into the college dorm, I found *behind* the desk drawer a Taco Bell receipt that printed the customers name, full credit number, AND the expiration date on it. I looked up the name on UT Directory -- the person was an active student, with current address and phone number and such. Man, ID Theft was so easy back then. What a stupid move by the Taco Bell. And this wasn't the 1980s either.
  13. where do the ducks go in the winter?
  14. Why would they need to make a direct/private deal to refi existing obligations? As debt comes due they just continue to roll it forward on the public market. Treasury has never needed to do anything else. All the tariff stuff is just simple and plain national protectionism.
  15. Im gonna profess to something embarassing which is that I spent $300 on an umbrella, which I lost after a few months, so I spent $250 on a replacement, which I basically never ever used again.
  16. Imogen Poots sounds like a funny phrase a 3 year old came up with
  17. That’s some serious cargo space though
  18. Thats the compromise they came up with. Shes making the purchase privately then expensing it after the trip. Buying it now to secure the flight and hotel so we can do family vacation on top of the business trip.
