  1. I’m comparing their freshman year. I think he’s on track. Obviously you can’t compare a career to less than a year.
  2. He needs to take a shower then
  3. I’ve got two words for you. Huston Street
  4. the best part about schloss … TOTALLY different approach to the mound. Doesn’t chance it with Burns or Grubbs, makes the change on time. So fucking refreshing.
  5. Come on Texas Jesus titty fucking christos.
  6. Will you marry me?
  7. I need me a jersey I’ve decided and I can’t decide if it’s the pinstripes or the orange jersey with script Texas. It’s been a season long dilemma.
  8. Mendoza carrying the top of the lineup need the rest to step up too.
  9. #winning ….… ….. for both programs.
  10. I well understand the hate but that’s shocking to me but Miami is one of my fav teams, so that’s kinda cool.
  11. It’s both but the problem is my appetite has taken off and I’m eating more than I should and I can’t eat less I’m fucking ravenous. I’m hoping it settles in and evens out that’s what I’m being told to expect. I’m going to time some protein snacks before and after workouts to see if that will quiet my appetite. Worked today, had an intense HIIT workout and ate some protein after and I’m still satiated 4 hours later.
  12. Poooooooooor Aggies.
  13. PA system makes it really hard. It’s loud as fuck but artificial noise. Naturally causes folks to be quieter, imo.
  14. Me too, there’s nothing worse than losing to them, and winning really doesn’t do much, it really just avoids the loss.
  15. Got him thru 6…. He’s pitched very well.
  16. Pierce is gone, it’s ok.
  17. top of the line up needs to get it back.
  18. How old are your kids @Dnaguy ? Until the kids are teenagers it’s really fucking hard. Kids hang on mom and demand from her in ways you can’t really imagine or fully understand even when you witness it. That shit wears moms down, even the best moms. And the bad moms, it can be worse, they do less and are demolished by the demands even more. And I haven’t mentioned full time working moms yet. Holy shit that is an impossible task. And I think these demands on her that have nothing to do with you can really cloud a marriage. I think it’s super shitty your vulnerability was met with disdain, I think that’s awful, but I imagine she’s full on care taking. I think what I see from my guy friends is similar to what you express, deep feelings of neglect and need, and unfortunately all she feels is another human that needs her to be the emotional rock. It’s not a death sentence for your marriage but it does seem that for most marriages, until the kids are full on teenagers, the marriage and the adults in the room often run at a consistent deficits. You do the best you can, you try for nights like you just had and you hold on always trying to cut your partner some slack and hope she does the same. But I’ll tell you this, the more of the load she feels is up to her that you can carry the more she’s going to turn back toward you, assuming it’s not all lost (and if she’s fucking you I have a hard time seeing it all lost). But your time line and the timeline that is realistic may not match. It’s also possible work and motherhood will break her. I know some that have fallen in the alcoholism hole, or worse. So it’s not guaranteed to get better. So, I’m not here to tell you what to do, but together or divorced your and her lives will get much easier when the kids get older. What that looks like for each of you (whether this period breaks you or not) and your marriage is an open question.
  19. muscle weight don't care about and I'm not sure how much is that. weight gain is 10 lbs though, and my waist is definitely noticing as certain active skirts/skorts i wear are getting a tad tight. trainer said some protein before a work out - like 1 hour before - then protein (example she gave was apple and peanut butter) right after a work out to stave off the ravenous hunger that comes. basically eat right before and right after a work out. she also thinks my appetite will calm down in a few weeks. she's less nutrition than work out though, but she's so effing fit, she knows something. I do this spinach, banana, peanut butter, fig, vanilla, oat milk smoothie and I think I'm going to cut the peanut butter and add peanut butter flavored protein powder. I think I'm going to just ramp up protein consumption. really am open to thoughts. i'm feeling as good as I've felt in 7-8 years now 12 weeks in. it's amazing. i feel strong, confident, capable, my energy level has sky rocketed and I"m happy. but damn my appetite is like either a pregnant woman or a teenage boy or both right now.
