  1. lot of stupid motherfuckers on this site who preferred maalik to quinn.
  2. jabari smith is going to have victor wembanyama nightmares
  3. Texas 31 BYU 20 31 pass attempts, 256 yards
  4. The new season tipoffs tonight and the Rockets were certainly active over the summer, adding in a respected head coach and a couple of veteran starters to bring some experience to the young core. Projected startig lineup: PG - Fred Van Vleet SG - Jalen Green SF - Dillon Brooks PF - Jabari Smith C - Alperen Sengun On paper, it's an intriguing group. How well they mesh together remains to be seen. The western conference looks pretty deep this year and the Rockets could be an improved team but still find themselves at the bottom of the standings. They owe their pick to OKC if it doesn't fall in the top four so there is not much reason to purposely want to lose this year. The Vegas win total was set at 31.5. I'll say they finish slightly better than that and go 36-46. Probably not good enough for the play-in tournament but if they can get the young guys some expereince in some games that actually matter in the second half of the season and the young guys look like they belong, I'll consider it a good start to phase 2 of the rebuild. Game 1 is tonight at 6:00 in Orlando. Go Rockets!

  6. reading between the lines, it doesn't sound like Sark expects Quinn to be out for a really long time. maybe he's back for TCU at the latest?
  7. they are "more than hopeful" that Ryan Watts will be back this week.
  8. Quinn and Ethan Burke are "week to week" Edit - Catalon too.
  9. not surprising that practice would go even longer than normal today. lot of shit to sort out.
  10. Texas starts fast, sputters, and holds on to beat Houston 31-24. There are injuries galore and they are going to be without the starting QB for some time. What will Sark have to say? Next up, 5-2 BYU Saturday afternoon at DKR, 2:30pm on ABC.
  11. my guess is that we'll see the 6-day window exercised and that fox will choose between this game and bedlam for big noon. the big ten slate on 11/4 is very weak.
  12. its more astonishing that you really think he wouldn't. even considering how stupid your takes typically are.
  13. damn, awesome play by the asu defender on that 2 point attempt
  14. they are doing the same things that teams who ultimately don't pull these off always do.
  15. i swear to god if they trot that fg kicker out there again....
  16. michigan is the best team in the country and it has taken harbaugh the better part of a decade to get them here. in fact, up until he finally beat ohio state in 2021, there were plenty of people who mocked him on this very site.
  17. we have the dumbest fucking people posting here i swear.
  18. sorry i can't do it this year. my wife is extremely pregnant and could go into labor at any point between now and tuesday (when she's scheduled to go in and be induced) so i can't commit to anything over the next few days.
