  1. just looked at the field for the Maui Invitational this year. doesn't seem to be nearly as loaded as it typically is.
  2. most things that haven't been relevant for over 20 years are given $1.5 billion, correct?
  3. i was going to say something harsher, but decided that i'll just say that he got the reception he deserved in his final wwe appearance:
  4. holy shit that was incredible. fucking amazing.
  5. i saw it yesterday and agree that it didn't really have a firm grasp of what it wanted to be or what it was trying to say. it was entertaining and intense at times, but also required quite the suspension of disbelief in others. Joaquin Phoenix was excellent, but that is to be expected going in. it was a very, very strange movie in that it has sat with me ever since i've seen it but i'm still not exactly sure how i feel about it.
  6. i don't know if it will wow you but i just sent an offer.
  7. Pacquiao looked pretty solid for 46 last night. Barrios is not one of the current greats, but he's not a tomato can either and he's 16 years younger than Pacquiao. I'm not as upset with the draw as some on Twitter are, but that was definitely a fight between two pretty evenly matched guys and I think that says a lot for Pacquiao.
  8. Anybody at the top of the standings who is pretty sure they're going to be in the playoffs want to trade something that can help me right now for Spencer Schwellenbach? I love him but I need to win every single category that is possible between now and whenever the playoffs start and I don't have the luxury of waiting for him to return from the IL. I'm probably too far behind as it is but I've been winning some weeks lately and want to make a go at the playoffs.

we have similar tastes as that's been the standout for me today.
  10. yeah that was super impressive. agree with everything that is being said about Usyk - guy is awesome and we're lucky to have him around.

of the songs they didn't release as singles beforehand, Is There Anybody Out There is the early standout for me after a couple of listens.
  12. Stringer's fate was sealed the moment Omar decided not to finish off Brother Mouzone late in season 2.
  13. i think it's cool he went back to Portland rather than ring chase as some washed up role player somewhere.
  14. I feel the same way. I pay almost no attention to him outside of Gameday, but he has done a lot to help revive that show. He and Saban have been excellent additions that had made the show much better than it was 4-5 years ago.
  15. the way that Bobby has been talking about him lately made me think he knows something a lot of us don't yet know. hope that is correct.
  16. i'm fine trading him, i just don't want to give him away for nothing. i'm fine dragging this into the season if necessary. he's curenttly an 8th-9th man, not anyone who is going to be significantly relied upon. his being upset with his role is not going to disrupt team chemistry or anything like that.
  17. Man, I don't know. I don't like Giannis, but if I could get him for Sengun, Eason, Whitmore, filler and picks, it'd be very hard not to make that move: PG - FVV, Sheppard SG - Amen SF - KD, DFS PF - Giannis, Jabari C - Adams, Capela That is a very complete and versatile roster that would be a serious championship contender for the foreseeable future. Could probably use one more shooter but that is picking knits. It’s probably not on the table anymore now that the Bucks just signed Turner to a long term deal and I’m not sure they’d want Sengun and Turner as their two key pieces, but its definitely worth considering if its on the table.
  18. he was probably my second favorite guy from that era behind Harden. him or PJ. i'm not expecting him to be what he was back then but i'm pumped to have him back. always hated that he was collateral damage due to the westbrock trade.
  19. that denver/brooklyn trade is going to make the western conference even tougher next year, but could improve the odds that brooklyn's 2027 pick is a good one.
