Beto's comments about the debates come from this interview. Starts @ 23:00 mark. The way he says it, it is like he is playing with house money and it's fun!

Two chains i would stop at are in the north and west.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Taco_John's
I enjoyed them the few we stopped at. Clean, decent food. Taco Bell done right.
A pretty wide selection. Clean. There's one around the Woodlands and one in Conroe that I know of.
So I will eat at a chain, but its gonna be if no little mom and pops are available.

Kelly and Mattis see themselves as Trump's handlers. They are the ones keeping this from getting entirely out of hand. They figure if the leave, then no one can keep this loon from doing whatever he wants. Trump is too stupid to see they are making these statements to retain their positions. Statements of placation of a mental patient to calm them down, get them to take their meds.
I would bet they figure they can do more damage control on the inside than ousted.
On another note. In that transcript Trump talks about how the GDP would be negative if it weren't for his stellar leadership. It's been a long time since i took Econ or Govt classes, but doesn't GDP stand for Gross Domestic Product? The sum of all goods and services produced in a country within a studied time period, right?
So if no one does anything...not a thing...nothing is done, nothing is made then wouldn't GDP be zero at worst? How can it be negative? I can see how net domestic product can be negative, or the rate of growth of GDP, but not the actual GDP. Surely he recognizes this? Or did I hear it wrong?

1. Uh Potus, on TV etc
2. Like that’s the first time kids are exposed to the F bomb. What the fuck, weak sauceI think he is playing on the casual dropping of the F bomb as an indicator of the perceived continuing collapse of moral values in our country. Same thing as with the kneeling issue. It's all targeted at the olds. To plant anger and fear in them. And he figures it's a double whammy, since Beto is actually dropping those bombs.
These are simple things that people with small brains can grasp onto. Anything like discussion around gun control or immigration reform won't fly, because discussion has been erased from their set of solutions, replaced by ignoring and stonewalling. It is all about change and pandering to those who have seen the most, who want to point to anything negative that has happened in their lives and say "change did this! change is bad! I support Cruz because he is going to reverse all this change!" Same goes for Trump, it's the basis of MAGA.
I don't care for the F bomb, though i use it very often. It has surely lost a lot of it's clout as a shock factor. The old idiom about using too much profanity shows your lack of a plentiful lexicon has some truth to it. But that is a debate for another day. Maybe we need a thread on creative cursing? I bet surly could be a gold mine for that!
Beto's use of it now and then and Cruz's attack of it as evil are just another indication of how polar they are, as are their bases.

That is some serious steel there. Smoker is at least 3/8" walls, looks like. I bet if you outfitted it with one of those pellet feeders it would be easier to keep constant. I think it would be pretty awesome at smoking homemade sausage rings or hams. Anything you need to hang.

and boudin sounds great but the few I have tried is too much dough/starch
I do the boudin ones at home. Take a sheet of crescent rolls and roll up half a link of boudin in it. Bake like the package instructs. Then slice. I would guess you could use some cheese too, just not sure which would be best.
You are right about the ones in the donut places usually being too much bread.

Yeah, but i still figure the russians have some involvement in it. They counted on places like tigerdroppings to pick it up to look more acceptable. If they would have started their own sites it would have been more suspicious.

I could go with coach Bro as our OC now. As long as Herman stayed hands off. Let him do the schmoozing and politicking. He is good at that. Just hire good OCs and let them do their jobs...don't meddle. Don't mess with their stuff and then when you screw it up, blame it on them (Looking at you Mack). He has done this successfully with Orlando. I don't know why he can't do that with OC. He obviously made an improvement with Hand. It's befuddling to say the least. Unless he doesn't want anyone to outshine his Mensa mind when it comes to being an offensive side guru.

Wasn't this like 2 months ago? But now the 911 has been released? 911 is there for emergencies. They start charging 100 bucks or so for each call that goes in that isn't non emergency, then that will stop that crap. We have the technology now to tie records to phone numbers. Use it to keep up with these drama queens and start charging them after the 2nd or 3rd time. Jail time if they exagerate a situation to get a response. We are short handed enough on LE, fire and EMS without having to go tend to these little SJW things. I know SJW is usually used for libruls. What are these people then? IWB? Insecure white bitches?
My god it reminds me of Nazi germany, all the good little nazis ratting on their neighbors, hoping to be somehow rewarded or recognized by the party.

My 16 yo son would disagree. I think maybe TC is afraid if kids were to hear Beto, they might encourage their parents to listen to Beto. Then to really think about the person who is going to help mold their futures.
BTW my son attended both a Beto rally and a grassroots organization meeting. He didn't really have much to say until after seeing Beto personally.

I think if Avenetti keeps this about shadowing Trump and calling him out on his lies and less about Beto and Cruz, then it will work in Beto's favor just fine.

Supporters of Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) have been deluged by signs for challenger Beto O’Rourke and are furious at his campaign for mismanaging the situation, according to the Fort Worth Star-Telegram.
According to the paper, Beto’s distinctive black-and-white yards signs have “seemingly dominated the landscape” in the state.
Cruz’s signs are rarely spotted, and his supporters are reportedly “increasingly agitated,” partly because Cruz’s campaign refuses to provide his supporters with signs.
At a recent rally, a member of the State Republican Executive Committee confronted Cruz about the signs.
“The one question I get asked universally, everywhere is, ‘We’re seeing signs that say ‘[Beto]’ in our neighbors’ yards, and we want to claim our territory and have your signs in our yards,’” the man, Mike McCloskey, asked Cruz. “I think people here are wanting those. What can we do to get those in the hands of the folks that want to have them in their yard?”
Cruz’s campaign manager, Jeff Roe, reportedly has “an aversion to yard signs” and prefers other means of reaching voters.
Beto signs are popping up in traditionally conservative neighborhoods, which has freaked out Cruz supporters enough for the subject to come up at Republican meetings and events across the state.
“Last week, at a GOP gathering in Salado, a small, community halfway between Waco and Austin, attendees distributed a bulletin that highlighted all the O’Rourke signs popping up in conservative neighborhoods,” the Star-tribune wrote. “A speaker urged patience among local Republicans on the lack of Cruz signs, telling the relieved crowd that she was working with a local printer on getting legal clearance to print their own local Cruz campaign signs and that the campaign would purchase more signs in the coming weeks.”
Read the full report here.
Meme material:
1) If he can't produce yard signs, how can he produce in DC? Oh, wait, he doesn't.
2) Why send someone to DC who can't get you a sign for your yard?
I'm pretty lame at this, I am sure there are better ones out there.
I also figure there is fodder in using the fact that all he went to were BBQ places during his little tour. Something about lack of variety. Probably got a nice campaign donation from the proprietors...tax deductible of course. Be nice to have list of all of them, so I can avoid them.

We hired a coordinator who worked for Urban and parlayed that into a few good years at a mid-major, and who had 2 wins which defined their status as "elite" on the rise. Brought an underwhelming staff with them, a particularly shitty OC, and refused to make changes when changes were due. Twice in a row.
I don't think it's crazy at all they are having similar runs
I like Orlando and what he has done with the defense. S&C is better. The entire staff he brought is not inept. It's on the offensive side of the ball mainly. And that is his baby. We can blame Beck all we want, but I would not doubt that Herman was very involved in the play calling yesterday. He sees himself as this mensa offensive guy and he puts together stuff that is just tinkertoy. His narcissism keeps him from accepting he isn't that great offensive mind. He has qualities in recruiting and paying respect to old players/coaches. But they are not strong enough. The fact he found success with the up tempo and could have easily gassed the Terps the whole second half...but he walked away from it after huge success. That's just completely unreasonable.
I'd like to see him canned and have the reins turned over to Orlando and Hand.

^^^^ Did you get the drift from maybe the tenor of your fundraiser, either off Beto, his crew or your attendees?
I think people are tired of both the mudslinging and big money. I think they are coming to Beto's side because they are seeing he is the real deal.
The majority of politicians are like Cruz. No platform, so they go negative. It is human nature to belittle your opponent when you feel you can't rise to their level. I think a lot of people recognize a good thing when they see it and they are stepping up and into line. It is just not that often good things like true statesmen come along.
I have a darker fear for this race, but I won't put it out there.

I just have to wonder how many people like her know so much really dark treasonous shit that has gone on and is continuing to go on. To not speak up for fear of hurting the country maybe? Trying to take the high road while hoping that the DOJ does the job it is tasked with. That at the completion of that job these fools who think they can play the American system will be diminished to nothing by America itself, awakened from it's lethargy. Fools that laugh in the face of men like her father. Fools who bait others to do the same.
To have to live with that, be that close to it as Meghan and her family is, it has to be hugely frustrating. I don't think I could do what she just did without flying into a rage. And it wasn't political, it was sincere, based on what she has been taught about America and civility since birth.
Props to her
