  1. Look who thinks he's Sam Wyche...
  2. And not a single post about how you pronounce his name (Oo-burr or Oo-bray)? I am disappoint.
  3. Progress is not always linear - sometimes you need to take a step back to take 2 steps forward I think the Wolves are a prime example. They took a step back last year from the 21-22 season as they were integrating Gobert and other parts. But so far (yes it's early), the vibes for Minnesota for 23-24 are immaculate and the Gobert trade won't look as bad as looked a year ago as all those Wolves picks that Utah received will be mid- to late first round.
  4. Dray's gonna go on social media later tonight and explain how putting players in chokeholds is just how he is. More than likely, though, is that Dray & Klay knew they had no chance tonight w/o Steph so they wanted no part of getting bitchslapped by Ant again.
  5. Draymond is the bitter old man who is big mad that he can't do the things he used to do.
  6. Yeah, dumping the salary is certainly a bonus for GS though Washington can afford it as they are going into full tank mode (and who better to do it with than JP?). But so far CP3 is looking as cooked as Klay and shooting the 3 about as well as Wiggins (both in the teens). But "one of the most lopsided trades of all time"? I think that's a bit hyperbolic.
  7. Not sure about that as this trade probably didn't move the needle one way or the other for both teams. Washington was going to be terrible, with or without the trade. And Golden State's time is at an end, with or without the trade.
  8. We can see the impact of coaching very clearly in this graphic. Udoka to Houston and Nurse to Philly (sans Harden) are massive, massive upgrades from a year ago and the teams are responding. Whatever you think of Udoka as a person, he can coach. Conversely, we're seeing that the Bucks are trending in the wrong direction with Adrian Griffin.
  9. Looks like Draymond is taking all the social media criticism in stride...
  10. Sound on. It's always nice to see Draymond get put in his place. And Ant is looking like he's going to be a fixture on All-NBA teams for the foreseeable future.
  11. Shemar Turner yall.
  12. As good as Paolo is, Orlando is going to end up regretting passing on Chet.
  13. Also no Garland. But regardless of who was out, JBB is among the worst 5 head coaches in the association. Ok, we're up by 10 with about 2 minutes to play and we're trapping off the pick and roll when we have the most switchable big in the game...leading to wide open 3s. We saw similar collapses last year. I mean, ffs, this is what JBB said after the game: “We gave up 3-pointers,” Cavs coach J.B. Bickerstaff said after the loss. “That’s the only way you get back in the game. We had some breakdowns that led to some open looks." Well, coach, why don't you do something about it? Classic JBB - blame the players while taking no accountability himself. Oh yeah, and the refs who reffed last night's game should never be allowed in an arena again.
  14. Ha - skipped right over that one. But like all the great ones, I need to pace myself so that by midseason my posts will be merely bad instead of atrocious.
  15. Kind of ironic that Billy Donovan, who wanted no part of an OKC rebuild, got spanked at home by OKC and getting into arguments with his players on the bench and asked to leave players only meetings. And it's not even Halloween.
  16. Call me cray cray but (health permitting) I think OKC is going to be a top 4 seed in the West.
