  1. But we will not speak about the turnovers. Great game last night that I had chalked up to a loss, given the injury issues and it was a 2nd night of a back to back. The defense on the Hawks was amazeballs and Lamar Stevens needs to be getting minutes over Okoro on the reg. Stevens had Dejounte Murray in hell last night (4-17) and the Hawks scored 43 points in the 2nd half as everybody locked down. Tomorrow night vs Portland (sans Dame) and then another test at Milwaukee Friday.
  2. So in a game that Dallas lost by 1 (and do real contenders lose to a Denver team that's missing Jokic & Murray?), this happened...
  3. Does it count if it's against Houston?
  4. Well of course they are.
  5. Arch looking at the UT Quarterback depth chart...
  6. And there it is...
  7. Well it's not really a rivalry when one team has won like 20 in a row... 😳 This tweet made me laugh though -
  8. It was five years ago. And yes it was Kendrick Perkins before him. But nobody in the org is left and the current regime would never do anything like that .
  9. Give me a break. You know how many reg-lar season games Jones played for the Cavs in his career? Two. A few more in the playoffs (and actually had a key 5 points in Game 6) but that's it. Dahntay Jones Stats, Height, Weight, Position, Draft Status and more | Basketball-Reference.com Are you really suggesting the Cavs are a dirty franchise because Jones had a cup of coffee with the franchise for a couple years over 5 years ago?
  10. Here's a better look at the foul screen - this was not Okoro turning into the screen or a flop. Klay's feet are literally off the floor as he runs into Okoro.
  11. Not surprising at all that I was able to find the infamous Andrew Bogut quote that was dredged up after last night's debacle.
  12. For those of you who didn't see - here's the clip in all its glory. Klay's feet weren't even on the ground. And yes, they've been doing this for years. Dirty, dirty team.
  13. They've been allowed to set moving screens for the last 10 years; why would they stop now? But I'm sure the incoming league apology and 2 minute report will make it all better.
  14. Yeah. And of fucking course the Cavs are playing last (tomorrow morning will suck ass).
  15. I do have it - but just for the Cavs. Haven't missed a second of the Cavs season so far. That's why last night was my first and only time watching the Lakers.
  16. Since they played the Cavs, today was my first time watching a Lakers game from start to finish this season. And wow what a mess. Besides a notably disinterested Lebron, an AD who is still good but not dominant, and Westbrook who is good about once every 5 or 6 games (today was one of those good games), they have nothing - NOTHING. Troy Brown 30 minutes. Austin Reaves 25 minutes. Wenyen Gabriel, Kendrick Nunn, Lonnie Walker, Matt Ryan - each with 15-20 minutes. My goodness what a trainwreck of a roster. At least the top of the 2023 draft is pretty loaded so help is on the way...right?
  17. I actually think he was more impressive the year before when he played 1 on 5 vs GS but just ran out of gas.
  18. Oh just you wait til Tony Buzbee and his client goes on HBO Real Sports. If the Deshaun Watson case is any indication, this is just the start of a long, draw-out, embarrassing, and expensive process. And, unlike in the Watson case where he just had one individual (Watson) in his crosshairs, he'll be going after the entire Spurs organization to extract his pound (and then some) of flesh.
  19. Farewell Kyrie. We'll always have Game 7.
