Kind of crazy how an ex-president can be so objectively wrong about everything he talks about.

"I was told I could have three judges! And I could pick them! And I was PROMISED the trial could take place by the pool at Mar-a-lago!"

And don't forget, catered by McDonalds.

Well, that was a fun glimmer of hope while it lasted (really, just the first 10 games). My assumption is they cross under the .500 mark today and live there the remainder of the season. Let's not fuck up again next offseason, again. Okay, front office?...

    Sad Happy Hour GIF

Yeah, going to be a long season. Story was hot, O'Neil was crushing it. But need pitching.

How confident are we that a neutral peacekeeper wouldn’t be targeted with IED’s and suicide bombs just because?

We are not. But they could secure the landing areas for aid, provide monitoring services, and coordinate humanitarian movement.

  5. ITALY WOULD CONTRIBUTE TO ANY UN PEACEKEEPING IN GAZA

Italy’s foreign minister says Rome would be willing to contribute troops to any possible U.N. peacekeeping force for Gaza, even though no such proposal is currently on the table and Israel has rejected the idea.

In an interview with The Associated Press, Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani suggested a U.N. force under Arab command could help provide security if Israel and the Palestinians make headway on an eventual two-state solution. He said the U.N. peacekeeping mission in Lebanon could be the model.

“If there is the solution and for a short time we need the presence of the United Nations under Arab control, we are ready for sending Italian soldiers,” Tajani said ahead of a Group of Seven foreign ministers meeting in Capri.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has ruled out a foreign peacekeeping force in Gaza after the war, saying only Israel is capable of keeping the territory demilitarized.

  6. Fucking murderers.

KYIV, Ukraine (AP) — Three Russian missiles slammed into a downtown area of the northern Ukrainian city of Chernihiv on Wednesday, hitting an eight-floor apartment building and killing at least 14 people, authorities said.

At least 61 people, including two children, were wounded in the morning attack, Ukrainian emergency services said. Chernihiv lies about 150 kilometers (90 miles) north of the capital, Kyiv, near the border with Russia and Belarus, and has a population of around 250,000 people.

  7. Russia's military death toll in Ukraine has now passed the 50,000 mark - the BBC can confirm.

In the second 12 months on the front line - as Moscow pushed its so-called meat grinder strategy - we found the body count was nearly 25% higher than in the first year.

BBC Russian, independent media group Mediazona and volunteers have been counting deaths since February 2022.

New graves in cemeteries helped provide the names of many soldiers.

Our teams also combed through open-source information from official reports, newspapers and social media.

Who’s laughing? I know it was painful for sure but unless someone took a shot to the face that wasn’t a uniquely violent collision. I had almost a similar collision on a shallow fly playing shortstop in pony league once. Definitely painful.

*On a 4th viewing, it looks like O’Neill’s face might have hit the back of Devers head.

Tyler O'Neill charged in to make the catch. Rafael Devers drifted back and did grab the popup for the final out of the top of the seventh inning in Boston’s eventual 6-0 loss to the Guardians.

The back of Devers’ head rammed into O’Neill’s forehead, and both players stayed on the ground for a bit to gather themselves.

O’Neill, who was bloodied, got the worst of it, exiting the game and getting eight stitches. He was in concussion protocol when the game ended, leaving his status in the upcoming days up in the air.

    Read your post.

Pony League vs. MLB... OK. Please keep us up to date with your hot takes.

A hit like that breaks bones or causes concussions.

That was a pretty low speed collision. Can’t see how you’d get seriously hurt from that unless O’Neill fucked up his nose

Tell me you have never been hit without telling me. Damn man. You are one of those who laugh when players get hurt.

Love McCutchen. This is how you do it.

One night in Three Rivers we were walking out of the players exit. Tony Pena was my moms best friend in the DR. Not in the way you asses will think.  I grew up in his house. Anyways, walking out a kid comes up about my age. I was 9. Tony was in a bad mood. Kid wanted a ball signed and he said no. Mom ripped into him like a good Boston Irish woman, told him that ball, that takes you 30 seconds to sign, will mean a life long fan. He turns around, walks back into the club house and came out with a broken down used mizuno glove of his. Gave it to the kid. Pena was one of the most humble players I grew up around. After that he never said no to a kid. Adult asses? Yep.
