  1. She’s like staring at a comet or something. Just a striking woman. If I looked like that I would never pay for anything ever because men are idiots and easily confused and distracted. I know because I’m a man.
  2. Some of you are complaining about Sark’s wife and Belichek’s girlfriend being attention whores on social media, but in the same thread we are seeing people say “We need Lane Kiffin!!!” This was four hours (allegedly) before the Ole Miss/Georgia game.
  3. By Mack, do you mean former SEC defensive lineman Daylon Mack? Please tell me you don’t mean Mack Brown.
  4. That came from a former scholarship athlete, so no.
  5. I thought these kinds of unsubstantiated rumors were not allowed on this site?
  6. This was way funnier than expected. Yeah but he used to be a punter. So he knows football.
  7. He’s funny.
  8. He would still be making millions. It won’t affect his quality of life or retirement plans.
  9. Oh, so the goalposts are on rollers now? Got it
  10. What about Saban? I remember reading posts from someone on one of the boards claiming that they used FlightAware to track a private jet from Tuscaloosa to Austin because Saban and wife were looking at houses in Austin. MessageBoardGeniuses indeed.
  11. Nope. Not here. Nobody here got paid. It’s everyone else. Just not us. Everyone else doing good is not our fault. It’s not our fault we sucked. Everyone else cheated. Oh, and everyone else got calls but us because the refs sucks and hate us. Or, we just didn’t make good hiring decisions. Maybe it’s that.
  12. I’m just going by what my old boss, a former Longhorn basketball player, shared with me about what he got paid and what others got paid. And Longhorn players posting on social media with bags full of new shoes by their sports cars with a caption saying “yeah, we spend it, but we get it right back”. But yeah, a giant football school in the biggest football state in the nation is the only big football school that behaved like choir boys while everyone else were acting like the cast of Goodfellas. Sure, Jan.
  13. Still so myopic. It’s great that you think Texas didn’t cheat. Read me another fairy tale. All the big schools have been cheating for decades. Texas included. In multiple sports. Once again, here we are blaming someone else for our failures. The truth we hired idiots and made poor decisions.
  14. No kidding. And yet most people on whatever version of this forum we were on then were still blathering on about how “We’re Texas”. And then the A.D. or donors go out and hire an idiot that thinks he can come in and just push a button and make everything better. You can have good infrastructure. You can have NIL money. You can have the best car money can buy, but if you hire a near-sighted moron to drive it, you still might crash.
  15. It shouldn’t have been as hard for the 2010’s but it was.
  16. Can you imagine the taunts he got growing up?
  17. How is Desmond Howard on tv?
  18. Mississippi State does not need more cowbell.
  19. This post does not scream “We’re Texas”.
  20. McCartney somehow held it together for that whole skit. I don’t know how.
  21. Bad analogy. Pro football fans align with a team because that team represents their city, or their region, or state. Or it’s what their older relatives watched on tv when they were growing up. Or they like the uniforms/helmets. Hell, I loved the Rams when I was young because I liked the helmets and colors. Look at the NFL fans gone goon thread. How many of those guys and gals are college grads? Few if any. They are drunken trash spending money they don’t have to cheer on a team they have no real connection to. I remember a video of a Texans fan in the parking lot after a game when Matt Schaub threw multiple pics. He paid a guy wearing a Schaub $200 for his jersey in the parking lot so he could set it on fire and be filmed doing it. Please don’t compare college fans and pro fans. Yeah, there is some crossover, but college fans have more of an investment in a team than do pro fans.
