  1. he started poorly but started trying at the end. i think newcomers fail to realize we aren't thin skinned, we just think talking stupid shit is a fucking waste of time, don't bring highly partisan bullshit takes like Georgia doesn't get the calls from the refs around here, put your stake in the ground and expect it to go well. talking shit like a sixth grader is boring and stupid. you want to do that go play on SEC rant. bring wit, good humor, utility and intelligence and you can stick around and be a top contributor here. listen, you have 66-3 for the rest of our lives. so you don't really have to say anything you've got that fucking ace card for eternity
  2. so you're saying its much, much better?
  3. gooners never say die!
  4. gunner stockton is gonna touch grass, you know what i'm sayin?
  5. You have to be an optimist to watch a sport where only one out of more than a hundred teams can win.
  6. Clio, Dropbox, Docusign, zoom, adobe, outlook365 (including teams for IMs), chatGPT, lexis, I think that’s all the software we use. spectrum business internet is all we have available and it’s been fine. We use a different phone company they are tiny but they have their own connection anyway they run VoIP for us and we’ve been using old office phones from 2010 or so and they work great still. Good cell phone obviously, get a nice laser printer, we use a dedicated IT team that has remote access to our computers that does all IT, recommends laptops and we time them out every three years. Get a good camera and mic, and one if not two big ass high res monitors - we aren’t getting any younger. The IT folks, they run the firewall and virus protection on computers and emails, so there is more software but we don’t manage it. We used to use law pay for credit cards but we moved to clio’s system it’s got a better interface. what else? I think that’s about it.
  7. I lost track of who’s there now and injuries I’m just hoping our safeties back make it a bit tougher. But yeah the Vandy plays that worked or that should of worked concerned me
  8. I’ve never thought it was the sec office. But a guy who lives in Memphis or Macon and has his own SEC pride from 13 years of reffing and a lifetime of watching SECx3 ain’t exactly wearing the stripes without giving a newcomer reason to worry, and the results on the field and seen on tape only confirm that suspicion.
  9. This is how you do it. Don’t be a pompous ass, start with utility, humility and humor then next thing you know you’re on the inside and then you can start being an asshole and talking some shit, but don’t be an idiot, and definitely don’t be an idoit, or you’ll get bounced by the fatwa mafia. And don’t be mistaken, it’s not that we can’t take it, it’s that if it’s stupid shit we gonna toss you. the thing is - and I may seem new here but not really - some of our best members are grads and fans of other teams… UCLA, Iowa State, Kansas state, Oklahoma State, Arizona State, washington, couple of domers, Florida gators, Colorado buffs, hell there’s at least two Aggies here that are at the top of the list, and pains me but even a sooner or two. And we could use some new folks from around who aren’t fucking stupid. We are a smart bunch, pretty fucking irreverent and we run with the “Deep South is a shithole” narrative quite a bit but we know some of these college towns are legit. so just take a deep breath and try and stick around. I pretty much told you the playbook, threw you a dozen or so likes, now the rest is up to you.
  10. I learn so much from watching this guy. He seems like he knows some shit. btw I never see rail on the refs but in this one he called about 6 holds no flags thrown. we are going to get fucked by the refs.
  11. Well then, we’ll run it on the second play!!!
  12. Mint the last year of issue? Seems like that could be worth something in 80 years.
  13. Second time over 4000/50 tho.
  14. 100% about the purveyors. The democratization is great but it leaves ample room for crooks. I’m pretty close to pulling the low dose glp-1 trigger and I’ll be going to one of those med spa type places bc it’s easy. Buyer beware for sure though.
  15. The logic of peptides is there. The animal studies are promising. The science to prove it out in humans isn’t. But if it develops look out. I need something for intense DOMS after workouts. Increase in growth hormone is one theory to help. Dunno. But I’m not ready to decrease intensity and I do all the normal things you do to mitigate soreness but damn if I’m not really sore 2-3 days a week. The good news is I could isolate try a peptide and if it works I’ll know. If it doesn’t I’ll know too because my “symptoms” are loud.
  16. Oh I’m not worried about them just wondering out loud about the underlying dynamics.
  17. Well, plaintiffs lawyers have to be paid too. So that motivation doesn’t really work. So either the land and insurance is enough or the plaintiff lawyers are happy with the publicity. Probably a little bit of both.
  18. Outside of insurance coverage I’m not sure I see a quality defendant with pockets deep enough for these lawsuits. In fact I’m surprised they haven’t already gone caput. I guess the land itself is vulnerable, but other than that all I see is bankruptcy or receivership with little to show for it. But admittedly I haven’t spent a minute looking into it. If the big game hunters are on it, it’s either more publicity for future cases or they see a real route to recovery.
  19. Some mother fucker on a flight the other day had the balls to eat a sandwich on a plane laced with raw onions. I stared that mother fucker down. Just looked at him.
  20. Well would you be ok if vanilla ice sampled your bad ass song ? Didn’t think so
  21. Sears catalog man…. Grew up with that thing, dreaming of the best toys for Christmas in my earliest years then migrating to the playtex bra pics as a 11 and 12 year old. Sigh. RIP sears catalog.
  22. I would not make a general comment like that but I'm not sure pure longevity research has been done on metformin (of course diabetes patients taking the drug fair better than those that don't), and more importantly I think finding a doctor that will prescribe it just because you want it is probably harder than finding good quality supplements backed by research. But even that said, it is also true (as I mentioned) you can get a low dose glp-1 (a med) from probably no less than 5 providers in a 10 mile radius of your home. quality, etc. are concerns, yes. but I'm just pointing out access to metformin vs. a glp-1 and if you have any notable visceral fat - even if you aren't obese, dropping that weight is easily one of the best things you can do. at 50+ we all know how hard that can be, and a low dose glp-1 can totally help with that. dropping visceral fat, increasing insulin sensitivity, controlling blood sugar, etc. are have huge longevity benefits. if I was looking for a single drug for longevity right now and I had even modest visceral fat that I wanted to lose (i do), I would take a hard look at the glp-1s first (I am).
  23. Bad vs bad. And Georgia turnovers lost vs Texas turnovers forced? Bc I’m betting on a sixer for the good guys.
