About as strong a lineup as you could ask for considering Isak & Frimpong, etc. are out. Only thing you’d maybe change is Curtis in for Macca on current form, but Curtis is coming off an injury so it makes sense to not start him right away.

Two of Bradley’s best matches in a Liverpool shirt against Madrid. Pocketed Vinicius for most of the night. The entire defense hardly put a foot wrong and Madrid really only had a couple of chances around the box altogether. You could tell how tired the guys were in the second half but they stuck it through. We probably should have 2-3 if not for Courtois and some poor final pass/shot selections but huge win to continue to reverse momentum. Wirtz was heavily involved from that left channel position for bits of the game and hopefully he starts seeing some more time there. Dom needs a freakin’ rest!

That seems to be our best lineup by far. While I like Gakpo, I’d much rather have Wirtz out on the left.

Ideally I’d like to get to some kind of 4-4-2 with a box in midfield but it doesn’t seem like we want to play Mo that way.

If he has to spend this long watching it then that’s crazy to overturn the call on the field

If it's taking you that long, it's not a penalty.

Fucking exactly.

But maybe if Konate and Bradley didn't play Keystone Cops, it wouldn't have been an issue.

HELL YEAH! EAT SHIT ROBOT!

I’d rather just have someone that can give you a 6 or 7out of 10 every week.

It’s one thing for him to fuck Up with his feet but losing aerial duels in the box can’t happen. That’s the whole reason he’s out there

should have a goal if not for blatant corruption, but I have no idea what we’re trying to do tactically here. how we’ve set up in such a way that Konate is constantly the player on the ball needing to make decisions is beyond me. the difference between Arsenal/City and this team is what the midfield does in possession. their players are constantly rotating in and out of space to receive the ball and draw defenders and Gravenberch, Macca, and Szobo are always stagnant sitting behind the initial pressing block. nothing is easy in build-up.
