Big money ruining college sports has been solved; maybe

With everything being above board, isn't transparency part of the resolution in that now we can see exactly the worth of a player and their compensation, with receipts?  That doesn't sound broken. So Congress or whatever governing body can now look at the actual books and see compliance.  WTF are we even discussing now?  How can anybody express interest in a former shady system where everybody can point to bagmen, agents, unaccounted for cars and homes--that was still unequal?  There's nothing to see here, it's not going back and there's a slew of prospective athletes and families that agree.  The only return will be in a few years when the spending is bankrupting departments/universities, which will happen.  And that's fine, it'll evolve into something else.
