    Goddamn thread title.

  • Ugh. When I first moved here in 2010 they used to have an old Expedition that neighbors would volunteer to drive around the neighborhood all weekend with a "SECURITY" sticker on it. Fucking stupid.

I've recommended Canard's to many over the years for AC shit, unfortunately they hung 'em up. I need someone that can replace a residential heater blower motor. Hit me up.

I used the new company that bought Canard’s for my heating unit last winter, go elsewhere.

That's why I posted, had heard the same from others. Sucks 'cause Canard's were good people.

Yep, the technician from Canard’s that worked on my AC unit before they got bought out was probably the best I’ve had.

I've used Air Worth (817) 685-0042, for a number of years. If you go with them, ask for Tony to come to your house as he's a reliable, trustworthy and very competent tech.

I ain’t rich like the kids in the Bourbon thread, but hit up CB Goody Goody for the first time in a long minute. I’ll bang for $24.

All right, listen up guys. 'Twas the night before Christmas, and all through the house, not a creature was stirring, except... two a-holes yanking an ATM out of a convenience store on I-30 and Cherry Lane.

That’s a very solid one. Before whiskey jumped the shark you could find it for $14/bottle all day.

Not Ft Worth but it’s the closest major city, my BIL leaves up there. We went to Rio Brazos in Weatherford 2 nights ago. Food was pretty good not outstanding like Billy Bob has mentioned.

Atmoshphere, cocktails and wine list are top notch for this area.

True story!   They got rid of weekend brunch.   It was a go to spot on Sunday morning

My wife mentioned going to Rio Brazos, but $36 chicken breasts, and a $37 pork chop caused me to “nope” out. You can get that mediocre shit for half the price, and for a lot closer of a drive.

The run down apartments on N. University across by Sonic on Bristol has a fence around it, and has very few cars. Looks like everyone has to be out end of year.

Not surprised, every time I have done pickup recently there are zero people in the dining room and not that many pickup order, quality had gone way downhill too. Is the Waterside location better?

I haven't tried the Waterside location.

Ran over to Dayne's today. It was better eating at the restaurant than the time my son drove it home for 40 minutes. Everything was "on point", their sausage was smoked Havarti and jalapeño, spicy enough that you needed a drink after a bite. The Flamin' Hot Street Corn was killer. The wife had the Frito Pie Beans. We went at about 2:30 and the line was about 7-8 minutes long. Got their Trinity, which is a half pound of brisket, half pound of pork ribs, a link of sausage, and two sides for $45. Added another half pound of brisket, and the Frito Pie beans. Got out with a tip for about $100, so not bad at all for three. I have to say, they are one of the best bbq joints with set hours there is. Right up there with the sell it till its gone places.

Despite the fast response from Benbrook firefighters and Fort Worth crews, one victim was tragically located inside the home. The resident, who neighbors say lived alone and was rarely seen out, did not survive.

‘Rarely seen out’ is akin to saying I like booze. I’ve seen that house untold thousands of times, my grandparents lived across the street. The word hermit doesn’t even begin to describe that dude, was shocked to hear he was even still alive. Still a rough way to go.

It’s ass. I actually liked the Tokyo joes place that preceded it too, they had a basic bowl entree plus a hot sauce that was legit.
