DARPA Is Building an Open Source, Secure Voting System

Finally, someone is tackling the problem of election security with a good strategy. This effort checks off most of the boxes that I would like to see in an attempt to secure the voting systems. There is still the problem of implementation by all of the different states but hopefully this project will provide a common non-proprietary system to be used by everyone.

Will it provide a mechanism for easily disenfranchising poor and minority voters?  No?  Then it's a waste of time.

Diebold execs are booking a block of suites at Mar-A-Lago as I type!

I think Diebold sold off that part of the business. I used to work with the guys that ran that side of the business at Diebold and they were some serious grifters. The kind of people that tend to travel in Trump's circles.
