  8. You need to make the trip north to Interstellar
  9. Add Interstellar Frito Pie sausage and Jalapeno Popper sausage
  10. this is central texas, ground zero for the best bbq on the planet. interstellar is fine.
  11. Define “near”. Hearing mostly good things about Interstellar BBQ.
  12. Daniel Vaughn has a pretty good write up on Interstellar BBQ.
  13. It will be funny if the first time I try Interstellar BBQ is in São Paulo, Brazil.
  14. Interstellar provides ranch style beans free of charge. As does Snow's and Cooper's.
  15. Interstellar was on point today. Pork belly burnt ends along with the usual suspects:
  16. Stopped by Interstellar today. Didn’t post pics because it looks like the other Interstellar posts I’ve done. It was great, as always. I did finally try the “frito pie” sausage today. I won’t skip that again
  17. Interstellar makes their own. It's not Polish style (though they have a "Kielbasa"), though it's not the ring-type either. I guess I'm referring more to the casing and texture (i.e. the "Eckrich" style mentioned above). The texture of, say, Interstellar is nothing like that.
  18. Lamb shank, pork belly burnt ends, and jalapeño slaw from Interstellar Barbecue.
  19. Going to try my best to finally try Interstellar…in São Paulo next weekend.
  20. Giving Interstellar a shot today. Number 2 on the Texas Monthly list so it must be good
  21. I understand the sentiment, but neither Interstellar nor Micklethwait belong in the same category with the above restaurants.
  22. Weird. I’ve heard Interstellar was borderline inedible from coworkers. Hope it was just an off day
  23. Finally got to try Interstellar BBQ. Brisket and pork belly burnt ends were legit...
  24. Interstellar BBQ on 620 is really good (Texas Monthly #2 in 2021) and should be right on your way.
  25. Just had Interstellar. Brisket was on point. Actually pretty amazing. Ribs and sausage meh. Happy fat and full.
