NIL Recruiting News Megathread
20M for a baseline for all athletes then a collective NIL on top of that is honestly the best thing for it vs trying to convince a bunch of normal fans to give 5, 10, 20, 50 bucks a month to Texas One Fund or Burnt Ends like things. It's a much more natural transaction to just give money to the university or have the ticket price go up by x and that x just goes to the athletes than it is to convince people and educate them on NIL and then send them a coupon for their taxes that they don't care about or send them shirts, magnets, cups or whatever like Burnt Ends. No one gave a shit about the merch they just wanted to pay the players. This will actually help the pure NIL opportunities because it'll unmuddy the waters a bit which will be nice. -

I forgot to mention that this is the key question. If you never have to touch the funds invested, for any reason, then going much higher with stock percentages will perform better on Monte Carlo analysis. However if you have to withdraw more than ~3% ish every year, then having a decent percentage in bonds helps lower the chance of running out of money.
