  7. 2025 SEC Football Awards presented by Allstate announced Unsurprisingly, the snubs continue. 10. The Athletic: College football All-America teams 2025 Unsurprisingly, Texas players snubbed across the board. No Taaffe or Simmons on first or second team. Instead it's packed with Tech and A&M players.
  11. They also don't need guaranteed representation every year. Let them fight for a top 12 rank like other teams. The intent of expanding the CFP was to give an exceptional team like 2004 Utah, 2007 Boise State or 2008 Utah a chance to win it all. Not to slap a participation sticker on some random Sun Belt belle of the ball and throw them into a boring meatgrinder every year.
  12. Concepcion and Niblett had virtually identical stats as returners. So of course the anti-Texas bias came into play and they defaulted to snubbing Niblett. They'll likely do the same and name Howell as SEC DL of the Year ahead of Simmons. And it's BS that Taaffe didn't win the Burlsworth Trophy, but the Arky hillbillies who decide that award are biased against Texas as well.
  13. Final end-of-season imperialism map. Michigan has no territory that we can add with a Citrus Bowl win, having just lost to Ohio State.
