  1. McMurtry. "Cashing in on a 30 year crush. You can't be young and do that"
  2. Thanks. I used to listen to Joe's podcast but lost it in a switch to a different platform.
  3. When the doors are open, it cools the kitchen a little too slowly, but it does a damn good job of keeping out of date and spoiled lettuce at an adequately chilled temperature.
  4. Open drawer talk not going away.... Wife was putting away the groceries while was doing something else in the kitchen. Her: "I'm too hot in this sweater. I need to go change clothes. " ... And off she goes. Notice the placement of the asparagus......I would assume that is temporary.... But would likely be wrong. Upon turning around....
  5. I could have offloaded this on you.
  6. OH>>>> from the above pictures. Storage bins full of kids artwork. Grouped by grades.........You are looking at a stack belonging to the oldest daughter. Now 35 years old.
  7. I feel ya @SHOOTER12 . Pictured here are 2, 7 ft tall side light windows from some hurricane damaged church in Florida. She found them in some 'antique' shop in Port. St. Jo, FL while we were on vacation. OOOHHHHHH the plans she had for these. I had to wrap them in bubble wrap and cram them down into kayaks to get them home. I can't believe I didn't break any of the glass. That was 10 years ago. Here they still sit....leaning against a basement wall, along with a bunch of art/maps that have never been frame, and about 13 other pieces of furniture that we don't have room for. And then bitches because of all the junk in the basement. Fuck. And fucking open drawers. I will NEVER understand that.
  8. Is that Bobcat Golthwaite's daughter?
  9. Rented from some streaming service. Can't remember which one. Maybe Vudu.
  10. Finally caught this last night. Fantastic all around. The moments with Sklar and Phil Collins were fantastic. And Russ Kunkel just seems like a great guy.
  11. George Harrison was my first thought. And the Beatles might not have recorded many of his songs, but IMO, I like his solo stuff a lot more than any other Beatle and Beatle material was generally by favorite songs. Beatles songs: Here Comes The Son, Something, While My Guitar Gently Weeps, Solo career on these three alone: Beware of Darkness, What Is Life, Give Me Love And yep. Wilburys for greatest supergroup. They wrote all new songs among themselves. And on that first record, not a bump in the road. Highway Men did older songs of their solo career and covers.
  12. I just love this delay when he switches to the strat.
  13. I always loved these songs.
  14. Still, they should have gotten Bruce Robison to do What Would Willie Do. That is a better, more clever song than "Roll Me Up and Smoke Me" and "Sing One With Willie". But at least he got Charley on there.
  15. Yep. She has been touring with him for awhile.
  16. I missed seeing Charley Crockett dammit.
  17. Who is the guitarist in that backing band. Not Tom Bukovac but the strat player. I've seen him in several shows when Don Was was the music coordinator but no idea who it is. Only bad thing about Willie's show was it was done in LA and all of the Hollywood types announcing acts. Did see Neuheisel in the crowd. I recorded the last hour so hopefully, they will at least list the credits of the band. Also, I was watching that shit show CMA Country Christmas and Harmoni Kelley was playing bass in that band. So happy for her. Assholes didn't run the credits at the end or introduce the band.
  18. I have two Gretsch guitars and I love them both. One is like that red one but with a P90 in the neck and filtertron in the bridge. I'm going to replace that bridge with a better version, but I only play that neck P90 and LOVE it. I also have one of the big hollow body guitars. Completely different that anything else I own and what it does, it does perfectly. I can' never the model numbers but I really like both of these.
  19. I've posted about this podcast that Norah Jones does. Every episode is fantastic but the interaction between these two and the music they make. Very enjoyable listen.
  20. Holy shit. The Estonian. I'm surprised he is still alive.
  21. I grew up on George Gimarc. My brother had a show at WT in the mid 80s called The Bottom Forty. A buddy then had a magazine by the same name and now he has a podcast, still called The Bottom Forty. He calls it Non-denominational Radio https://www.listennotes.com/podcasts/the-bottom-forty-greg-glover-OZ0l-gTebno/
  22. This is going to be right in my wheelhouse. Thanks for posting.
