Someone on the old site posted about an old poster print shop in Nashville. Anyone know the name?
Is it Hatch Print, next to the Country Music Hall of Fame?

Get something that does a great slapback delay if you want to do Elvis and rockabilly.
Yep. I put a delay pedal on there as well.

OK folks. Due to some life circumstances, I think I'm about to sell my Gibson Les Paul Honeyburst. 2014 Traditional.
Guitar is in GREAT shape. It has some slight hanger wear on the back, below the neck. It was there when I bought it, but didn't notice it until I got home. Case has a couple scuff marks on the edges (grandkids) but the guitar wasn't in it when it happened. It it beautiful. Pictures below don't do it justice. Plus, I found out that I'm just not a Les Paul guy. I paid $2,100 for it in 2015. It was the last new 2014 in Atlanta at the time.
Below link shows what they have sold for on Reverb. If anyone is interested, please PM me. I was initially going to ask $1,700 but asshole discount will be applied.

Got it. I just assumed that since one was 3 times as much, it was American made.Unless something changed recently, there are no American made Gretsches. The Pro line is made in Japan and the Electromatic line in Korea. -
Ha. The manager came over and yelled at him to turn it down. He did for a bit then cranked it up again. Mgr went over and unplugged it. Dude disappeared to the back. Two dudes testing guitars, trying to distract from my awesome shredding?I was test driving two different Gretsch hollow bodies. An American made and Korean made. The Korean actually played better but the American has better pickups. I was playing then thru a kick-ass Supro. Momma.
I have to go to Nashville next week so saving my guitar cash for Carter Vintage but if that fails, I think that orange one is coming home with me. I can upgrade to the better pickups, but honestly don't think I need to.

What is worse than some kid walking into a guitar shop and putting on a noodle-fest? A fucking employee found the same thing. Me and about dude were testing guitars and this asshole fires up an Orange monster ammo and begins to put on a fuck show.
Now the other dude and I are just standing around waiting for him to quit so we can hear our guitars and amps. -
My 2014 Traditional Honeyburst. Pic is more red than guitar actually is.

My buddy is the lead guitarist for Rantings of Eva. How bought a Honeyburst. Said it looked like a 16 yr old virgin chick came all over it. I bought a Honeyburst after that descriptionYeah, that's a beauty. What's the finish?
I was engineering demos for Pariah when they got their Geffen deal and Kyle scored a Gibson endorsement -- his first goodie was a "Honeyburst" Les Paul. My God that thing was beyond gorgeous.-

Just ordered one of the Pedaltrain slim tuners posted above. Will give reviews when it comes in.
I'm building a small pedal board for my new Elvis/jazz thing. Experimenting with combinations now. I've never played an electric thru a PA so need something to add punch. Just need to find the right combination. Definitely need a boost or OD, tremolo, maybe a harmonizer, looper. Need to keep it at 5 pedals top so I bought a Pedaltrain Nano Plus. -

1) Isbell is the best musician twitter follow and would be a top 10 comedian follow if he was a comedian
2) Amanda shires is playing the heights theater Saturday. We are gonna have her and the band on 90.1 KPFT around 10am Saturday. You can stream online or listen to recording of previous 2 weeks.
Sent from my iPhone using TapatalkIf you get a chance, ask her if she ever got her notebook back that had all of her work for the Sewanee School of Letters.

One thing for sure, Isbell's voice has gotten a lot better (stronger and clearer) since he got sober. Also, he significantly upgraded in the wife category.

I'm interviewing Eric Johnson (phone) for my radio show at 2:20pm. Submit questions to make me look smart.
He's doing a tour in honor of the upcoming 30 year anny of Ah Via Musicom. He's also doing the "Experience Hendrix" thing again later this spring.
I would actually like to know about his interaction with ZZ Top and SRV when they were first getting started. From what I've read in SRV's biography, they were all run by the same management team(?) and rumors were they kept EJ and SRV held back so they didn't get in the way of ZZ Top's success.
His other interests would be a cool question, and probably out of the ordinary.

Sweet. Will definitely record in mono. Right now, we are just playing through a PA in a guys basement, just working through songs to see what works. Haven't had this much fun in years.

One of the best guitarists I know still takes lessons from someone who isn't as good of a guitarist as he is. He says it helps stimulate creativity, especially when he gets in a rut. Plus, it gives you someone else to play along with. I always like playing with someone who is better than me so I can learn from them and it encourages me to practice more. Mainly so I don't embarrass myself. Keep it up!

I'm looking for a cheap way to get an organ should out of pedal(s). Mooer made a cheap one a few years ago, but they only made one run of them before they got sued. The single-use pedals are good, (EHX B9 or C9) but if I can do it with pedal combos I already have, I can spend money elsewhere. The B9 and C9 are around $220.
I saw a dude use a Mooer Octave pedal in combination with some kind of rotary pedal to make a believable enough sound. I have a Boss Harmonizer and a couple of modulation type pedals that might work. I've seen a couple of demos on youtube, but curious if anyone else has spent any time with this.

Years ago, I was at my parents house and was watching some music show with Chet and Suzy. He said, "I didn't know you liked country music so much". Then he got a closer look at her and said, "Never mind. I see why you are watching it".

I can't wait to mess around with NoteFlight. I just ordered one of those small, handheld Tascam DR-05 units to take to band practice. It is just a bass, drums guitar but I really need to see how my guitar sounds in the mix and listen to see if I need to be playing any differently. Plus, I can use it to practice guitar parts/solos and hopefully harmony.
Anyone use one of these? Also, I know it will vary but how much run time can I get on a 32 GB card? Will probably be recording the highest quality MP3 format versus WAV to save space.

He hasn't been sober in a long time.....maybe stretches. I don't think he drinks any more but smokes a ton of weed and way more acid...... especially when he is with HWA and Great American Taxi. When he is just the singer, he is usually really stoned. Look up the Todd Snider Banana story on YouTubeI was perplexed when a poster had Todd on their death pool list in a different thread. Is he not still clean and sober? Have seen him several times. Was first introduced to his music when he used to open for John Prine on Oh Boy records.-

Great. My To Do list: Gruhn Guitars, Carter Vintage Guitars, Hatch Show Prints, Robert's Western World.
Is the Country Music Hall of Fame worth it?
