  1. Also. In case I forget to post updates Friday, let me assure you that it slammed, went hard and was gone before I could get the money shot. And If I do remember, that’s just bad lighting.
  2. Disagree. Although I’ve played the same putter for nearly 10 years I keep a couple others around so that fucker knows it’s expendable.
  3. I’m often amazed by how little respect trump has for people doing the things he’s done and how much he has for those doing what he wishes he could.
  4. Wish I could rep more than once. I spent Father’s Day driving my son to camp. Mrs. BW is picking him up Saturday morning which means I’ve got Friday evening free for steak and whiskey with a small group of friends. Almost identical - two ribeye tomahawks and a double cut pork chop are ready to go. I’m spending way too much mental energy on how to prepare and the current lean is sous vide to rare, sear on cast iron and finish with smoke to medium rare.
  5. If we start calling it covid18 half of them may try harder to get infected.
  6. User name doesn’t check out.
  7. Counterpoint. It means we are actually playing football this fall.
  8. Can we pledge to not post more pics of these steaks?
  9. For someone that hates dogs he likes to mark territory like them.
  10. Is Brad running a site where survivors can self report? And have the kpop fans been properly scrubbed?
  11. Surface area
  12. One of my local Kingwood stores just got a Knob Creek private barrel. It’s 9 years and 3 months and pretty good. Owner said he picked it over a 15 year. Could well have been the better barrel but I’m guessing it will move slowly and a 15 year would fly out. I’m trying to respect his decision but pretty sure I’d have made a different call - even if I truly preferred the younger barrel.
  13. My thoughts. Apologies for mediocre graphics
  14. Not far off. Except when concerned about the officer’s life.
  15. But Obama
  16. He’s “both sidesing” police reform.
  17. Then it’s not official.
  18. Too late to add a DNR to those waivers?
  19. I was honestly lukewarm on Biden but nonetheless 100% voting for him. As this shit plays out I increasingly believe Biden’s DC tenure may be his biggest asset. A knowledge about properly functioning government and a Rolodex to capably refill positions will be critical to unfucking trump’s damage.
  20. That’s Gus at his zenith. He’s most closely associated with his other works such as “ I ride the short leash”, “Popped by copperhead - twice to be sure” and “...wait for it” DB2BAC3B-63E1-47BF-85A3-A2722B1F4DA2.MOV
  21. Ordered. Mrs. BW will be less than amused.
  22. Perfect. I want order the colonel for our youngest dog Angus. And then giggle every time I walk by Col. Angus.
  23. I’ve read a sample of this thread. Not random - essentially the first several pages and the last few. The following thoughts keep coming up. Apologies if I’m beating a dead horse. 1. I’m happy to see mostly civil discourse on a polarizing subject. By mostly civil I’m referring to a willingness to listen, admit a comment could have been misunderstood and eventually be willing to agree to disagree 2. I’m sure somewhere in the pages I skipped someone has suggested the “Eyes of Texas” demand was brilliant negotiating strategy. I doubt it is the most material grievance but, as evidenced by the focus here, the one that can be leveraged into the most material change. Kudos to the athletes for a really smart move. 3. Change needs to happen. It won’t if we rationalize why the ones that impact us personally aren’t the changes that should occur. That mindset resists any change. Personal sacrifice and painful introspection are needed. As I type this I’m listening to a couple people discuss how taking the confederate flag down at nascar races is wrong. And that amplifies my position.
  24. So close. comparing assholes to oranges may be the best assessment of today’s Republicans.
