Penalties and Play calling fall under Sark.
Arch will continue to improve week over week.
we will hit our stride in conference play.
I see a lot of “contenders” with question marks. It looks like we will have a different mix of teams in the playoffs. Curious to see which of teams like South Florida, BYU, TCU, Texas Tech, Georgia State, Vanderbilt and hell even Texas State do from here on out. GJ Kinne is someone to keep an eye on imo.
I get it’s surly but shit…there’s a bunch to be excited about and yes some things to wring our hands over. I worry about the stuff Sark is responsible for. Adjustments? Taking what a defense gives him? Cuz I see the same shit over and over from Sark and him expecting different results.
he has a lot of good points but the criticisms of him from his two prior head coaching gigs carry even more weight to me now. Georgia twice last year and Ohio State games are examples of us beating ourselves with sark’s help imo.
having said all that it’s awesome to have now made the playoffs twice. And to always be in the mix as opposed to being Florida (yikes) or Oklahoma Lite (holy damn) or Alabraska. Texas Tech has their billionaire backer making moves and paying players and trying to get them into the mix. At least we are in it. Michigan has their Rodney Terry-esque HC that they likely need to fire. Aranda with Baylor is on borrowed time. The SMU reprieve won’t last long. At least we don’t have to go coach shopping. But I for one want sarks ass in the fucking booth if he’s going to keep on being the play caller, he needs a clear vantage point to see how bad his red zone play calling is. Jmo.
