  1. There are plenty of examples. Bill Burr is very good at this. Dave Chappelle, even though I criticized him earlier, is probably the GOAT at using racial humor in this way. Chapelle's Show used racial humor probably better than any other medium ever has. Hell, the very first episode had one of the greatest comedy sketches of all time that, taking the awful, degrading language of racial hatred and using it in the most ironic way possible. He used racial humor and stereotypes to hold up a mirror to America to try and showcase how ridiculous they were.
  2. Yeah I just think the same principle applies, albeit maybe a bit differently. Most people aren't going to yell at you in person or at the poker table or in your video game if you're joking around and not being a dickhead, you know?
  3. Sometimes it feels like rivalry games just scramble up the player ratings and go for max chaos
  4. I don't think prong was ever banned, I think he just kept fedposting and posting agitprop until the election and then fucked off immediately afterward. That was a fascinating account, almost certainly either a Russian drama farmer or an actual fed. The pedo bait thing he pulled in IPIHB makes me lean toward the latter.
  5. I might get some push back on this but I think it's important to draw a distinction between racial humor and racism. Racial humor is fine, as long as it's actually funny, isn't punching down, isn't mean spirited, and isn't leaning into actually harmful stereotypes. The same goes with things like LGBT topics and beyond. A good example, I think, is Dave Chappelle's recent "jokes" about trans people. He thought people were yelling at him about making jokes about trans people in general, and cried like a little bitch about being cancelled (while raking in millions from Netflix specials, mind you). Contrary to popular belief, you can actually make jokes about trans people, trans people will laugh at them, and [almost] no one will yell at you as long as they are funny and good natured. The problem with his jokes is not that he was making trans jokes. The issue was that his jokes were lazy, unfunny, and basically just amounted to "Hey, trans people are weird right? LOL!!!!!" with no thought or imagination beyond that.
  6. Guy who has policies has huge lead over guy that only has attack vectors and no real policies to speak of.
  7. Nah you still are you just don't know it because you're still in a bubble.
  8. Gonna need to hear about ol' HOG's thoughts on age of consent.
  9. It's basically all he posts about. Such a strange person.
  10. LMAO No one gives a fuck about your approval. You are a fucking weird loser. Shut the fuck up, nerd!
  11. Citing Jeffrey Epstein's attorney and a man who has personally been accused of rape and pedophilia several times over as an anti-cancel culture source certainly is a choice.
  12. In all seriousness, I think people often incorrectly assume they're being "cancelled" (which again, is not a real thing) when someone yells at them for saying/doing something stupid or shitty. If you're expressing a viewpoint that a lot of people find abhorrent, getting yelled at and being called a fucking idiot, etc, is not getting cancelled. If you can't handle your half-baked thoughts being challenged...I don't know maybe either shut the fuck up or learn to support your arguments like an adult. Or maybe engage in a little introspection and/or critical thought before you open your mouth in a public space.
  13. BOTH SIDES CANCEL CULTURE REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
  14. Just admit it, he owned you with his autism.
  15. I just think they would have done it that day regardless of what happened in Jerusalem. They were clearly intending to hit that specific meeting. Qatar maybe just allowed it, who knows. We for sure knew ahead of time. Yeah I read what he said, I'm just not sure it's the truth. The attack provided probably more cover for the op than they were expecting, but I would bet my money on it being planned and executed regardless.
  16. Tbh I'd rather us play a morning kickoff game in Provo than a night game
  17. I doubt it. They probably had this planned for a while. Maybe I'm wrong, though.
  18. Big 12 suspends officiating crew for allowing punt after TD in Missouri win vs. Kansas - The Athletic
  19. Cancel culture isn't real hth
  20. I have to say that I was mightily impressed with the TNT production on Saturday. For an utterly meaningless game against a hapless opponent, they really went all out to showcase their presentation capabilities, and I thought it was much better than your average (or even above average) ESPN broadcast. I hope we get more of that, not just for the Big 12, but for college games in general.
  21. You both sides pussy
  22. It's interesting because Qatar has been trying to act like the Switzerland of the Middle East for a while now, sometimes to their detriment. A lot of money flows through the country as a result, from all sides and sources.
  23. It's literally just word salad. It's like you took a nailgun to someone's frontal lobe and their brain is just stuck in a loop.
