this is ridiculous.  a state champion boys' basketball team would beat the WNBA all-stars by 50 points.  maybe 80.  why are women's sports a thing?  so fucking stupid.

I know this is supposed to be the lulz thread. But you’re saying that because younger men can beat professional women in basketball, women’s sports shouldn’t exist? You can go fuck yourself. I assume you’ve never been in a relationship with a woman and certainly don’t have a daughter. Let’s go ahead and keep it that way.

I feel like Nolan and the Astros should let Altuve wear #34 for a game this year.

I have a framed signed version of this in my office. Thinking of photoshopping in Altuve somehow despite the wrong number.

  3. Well, y’all have said it all about Altuve. It’s beyond incredible and we are insanely lucky to have this guy leading this franchise. And anyone who thinks he just cemented himself as the greatest Astro last night is insane - he had that wrapped up long, long ago. Nobody else is even close, including two HOFers.

    This is awesome:

Doesn’t Circa cost $200 a person to sit in the stadium seating. Pass. If it’s nice weather, Beer Park at Paris would be a great choice.

Oh I didn’t realize there was a charge for sitting in them. Thanks.

  5. Posting here since I know it’s getting more eyeballs than the Vegas thread. Especially @henrygandorf - I’m landing in Vegas shortly and need a place to watch the Stros. I’m thinking Circa Sportsbook but open to recommendations. We are at the Palazzo (hopefully not in THAT suite, if you know you know) - traffic is so terrible that going off strip to Circa is just as fast as going to Beer Park or to other spots on the Strip.

Mainly looking for the place where I won’t fuck up a W.

That was a pretty embarrassing display. A bunch of guys crapped their britches tonight.

Agreed - yet we still hit the ball hard several innings and had two outs that missed being HRs by a matter of a few feet. These guys will be fine. Although I’d be lying if I said Eovaldi doesn’t scare me. Gotta make him uncomfortable early tomorrow. Top of the lineup needs to wake up (aforementioned Bregman near miss notwithstanding).

  7. My favorite memories/moments are from Game 7 in 2017 against the Yankees. I took my dad (RIP) and we had seats right on the fence in the right field corner. Will never forget McCann’s double down the line that was right at us, Bregman’s ridiculous play to come home for a play at the plate that only works with a *perfect* throw, Gattis’s bomb to left center and of course LMJ’s curveball extravaganza to end it. What a game.

Being aggy has absolutely zero to do with on field accomplishments. Being aggy has nothing to do with the actual players on the field. It's the fanbase. Houston's fanbase is absolutely aggy. No one is calling the Astros players 'aggies'. It's the fans. It's the culture.

Well apparently you can’t read. Which is not surprising. I addressed both and it’s still fucking stupid.
