  1. Ryan Hall has been made weather czar and will "very quickly" end all severe weather, so we're gonna have good weather "like we've never seen before." And any storms that happen were Joe Biden storms.
  2. To the Hague with 'em
  3. It was. I remember thinking Quinn had the yips and needed some time to cool off. Spotlight was a bit too bright for Arch though and I understood why Sark put Quinn back out there.
  4. 5 inch switchblades are legal to carry anywhere in Texas. I agree with waiting until the video comes out before making any decisions.
  5. Not to be outdone https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/john-elways-business-partner-ex-agent-dies-after-fall-from-golf-cart-driven-by-hall-of-fame-qb-per-report/
  6. The best quality sports streams I've ever watched have been the illegal streams from ten years ago before the entire internet decided to enshittify.
  7. Sally and I were wondering how things are going down there in Chapel Hill.
  8. I never liked the switch away from East vs. West, and I doubt casual fans know or can understand what "Team Shaq" is. They allowed the sideshows to overtake the main event, which is why it became diluted and unwatchable. That being said, I think: US vs. Arctic Circle (Canada + Scandinavia + Baltic states) vs. The Rest of the EU (Spain, France, UK, Germany, Turkey) vs. Everyone Else (South Sudan, China, Australia, Brazil, Nigeria, Argentina, Japan) could make a pretty good mini tourney.
  9. Get those tiktok lawyers on staff
  10. Mangione was standing under her tent and she asked him to leave
  11. This has to be photoshopped right?
  12. The consensus at least on BlueSky has been that calling the issue debatable is clown shit, which has sparked a meta-debate about how debatable this issue even is. I don't think the language itself is ambiguous. If you want to get into legislative intent, that's fine, but to my mind that's a different question from whether the language is ambiguous. The only way it could be ambiguous is if the reader can't tell what "subject to the jurisdiction" means. The words are about clear as words could be, which is why I think the better side of this meta-debate is the side that says this isn't even debatable. On the other side, there was this fringe academic being ridiculed on BlueSky trying to say that "jurisdiction" has these esoteric definitions that require us to entertain his fringe arguments. I'm not sure I follow the particulars of why he thinks the word has those definitions, but it sure gives off "gold fringe on the American flag" vibes to me so I've decided to trust the experts rather than become one of those "do my own research" loons.
  13. So if the history is clear why do you suggest the language injects ambiguity?
  14. There's a TLDR out there but basically it was a way to shut down a debate about whether to give citizenship to Blacks and how to do that without forcing unwanted citizenship onto Indians who had jurisdiction over their own Tribes.
  15. I think the market would respond the opposite of what it'd usually do.
  16. Before Hegseth, they could be found right next to the classroom litter box, reading Karl Marx to avoid noticing microaggressions. Now it's all unvaccinated warfighters.
  17. You'd be surprised actually! I assume they're SEC/Duke old money guys who spend weekends in the Hill Country and have tee times at the Dominion
  18. His FUPA ensures he'll have a safe landing
