  1. Not an apologist, just sad to see a once great conference die. Our die was cast last summer, so I can’t complain. Just makes me sad nevertheless.
  2. Easy. From Long Neach or Redondo it’s 3 hours ish. Fur5er from MDR or Newport, but still easy.
  3. Yep, just chewed them up in the 8th and 9th
  4. Nice work! These Padre uniforms are so gawd awful
  5. My company gives us ur birthday off, but you can take it any day in the month of your birthday. I approve.
  6. Wilmer isn’t intentionally spewing falsehoods. He’s always tried to put the best pro pac spin he can, but typically gives up what he knows.
  7. Boy, the grammar standards at Stanford sur seemed to have fallen off.
  8. Good question. OSU and WSU likely to the MWC (sad). Stanford goes indy? Cal closes up shop?
  9. Bruins and Trojans indeed get full shares. Those shares are collectively larger because of the SoCal market.
  10. opponents are right. Actual schedule is still tbd.
  11. If the 4 corner schools leave for the B12, that conference will be about as evenly matched top to bottom as any I can think of. No powerhouses, and the bottom will still have some cred.
  12. I don't see a lot of SEC championships in Texas's future. They may get one, but they'll be vastly more difficult to come by than Big 12 chips. Hell, we can't win a P12 championship.
  13. These monstrous sized conferences don't sound like a lot of fun. "We came in 4th in a 20 team conference." Well that's just super. Winning conference championships will be extremely hard to come by.
  14. Agreed, but between a full Big 12 share or a reduced B1G share , it's a wash at worst, and they probably make more in the B1G at say a $40m number and are way ahead of any PAC option.
  15. Oregon and Washington agree to a reduced share because that is their only option.
  16. I just don’t get how the think they can break the GOR without massive compensation.
  17. Word is they may announce the rights deal tomorrow and it will be highly underwhelming. Upside tied to viewership which is so fractured I find it a hard sell. Which could kick the gears in motion and end the PAC in short order.
