The last hurrah for a once great conference that has been dying a slow death for years. Ironically, in what will be the final season before the death blow, it is also the deepest and most competitive it has been in years. The top 5-6 teams are very good. 4 to 6 of the better QB's in the country including the returning Heisman winner. Middle of the pack teams like U of A and CU will be intriguing. And then, come season's end...
This thread is to track P12 games this season. SC looked good on O, pedestrian on D in their first outing, as most suspected. Florida at Utah Thursday should be a lot of fun. CU travels to Ft. Worth. A pesky Chanticleer team travels to the Rose Bowl. Boise St goes to Seattle. And we're off. My predicted order of finish:
- Oregon
- SC
- UW
- Utah
- UCLA
- OSU
- UofA
- Wazzu
- CU
- ASU
- Cal
- Stanford
Let the final conference dance begin. RIP, Pac, you'll be missed.
