  1. All three were impressive in the McD game. I can see why Davidson ascended, though. For me, her game brings to mind Fulwiley's.
  2. Enjoyed seeing Bama walk off the Sooners to win that series.
  3. Highly productive for a freshman on a bad team. Doesn't look to be a burner, but I like the size. We have a guy who probably can throw him open on intermediate routes.
  4. Another big with talent. Nice. Miller is quickly building Austin's new skyline.
  5. Understandable that Dee Kennedy's no longer at Texas, but (as noted way upthread) he's made a real jump at the plate with KSU this spring. Would be nice to have that bat right now.
  6. Wouldn't call it the best-ever tape/film, but some kid from Sealy had a few highlights in crunch time.
  7. If he'd moved to the other dugout this weekend he'd have had at least one HBP.
  8. A lack of mobile bigs will be an issue until it's addressed. Yes, there are varying degrees of both "mobile" and "big." And yes, some fans will point to plays such as Oldacre's steal and layup against TCU and a few Jones runouts as evidence we had mobile bigs this season. However, the mobility we need going forward is lateral quickness and quick flat-footed jumping, both of which are especially helpful on D and offensive rebounding. The very best rosters have some of those players.
  9. Fulwiley is a true difference maker who can break down nearly any D. Not many others can.
  10. With as much as the SEC seems to go out of its way to create matchups in various sports, you'd think they'd want a second helping of last year's memorable postseason showdown with aggy. Or at least to renew the old rivalry. But no....
  11. Not to mention SC's personal income tax, which ranges up to 6.2%. If she's ever going to move, the school at the western edge of the SEC checks a whole lot of boxes.
  12. They'd better show up with way more hitting, pitching and defense than this. But I hope they don't.
  13. Okie Lite is pretty awful.
  14. Next time we sub at SS, maybe give little Dale a shot.
  15. That approach has served me pretty well. I still follow the team and want them to play well, but I take a lot of breaks compared to back when they actually were good. Houston just lost in inexcusable fashion to a rival with no offense, and I'm not even all that surprised.
  16. At this point, I'd call it a sapling.
  17. Ugh. Sorry I stayed up for that outcome here on the East Coast. But my fault for getting lured in. This offense has so little margin for error that a lot of nights figure to end up like this.
  18. Some really solid 5s in this portal wave. I especially like Okot's skills and athleticism.
  19. Gruntling, this is. 🤘
  20. A little lost in the 2-run sac fly play was the fact Mitchell once again did what she needed to do at the plate. She keeps delivering. You always need your bats to show up, but her hitting has been especially critical with the absence of Vivi and the fact Stewie hasn't been at her peak every week. Having someone solid to protect Atwood of course is also key.
  21. The kind of mobile, highly skilled interior players UConn and SCar put out there don't grow on trees. But if we're going to earn the crown, we need to find at least one who can hold up against the likes of them. Ideally, we'll find a couple. I'm hopeful we can.
  22. Except for that lamentable glitch last year, which may have been more about miscommunication than playing it safe.
