  1. These aren't Trump going loco quotes. This is a planned strategy of discussing the stuff in the open to make us question if his originally doing it is improper at all.
  2. my initial understanding of perry's role was that his presence was an insult. they pulled pence from going to the inauguration of the Ukrainian guy and sent perry instead, to show how little we thought of them. is that not right?
  3. they won't move fast on this. they will publicly flog Trump as long as possible because they know that as soon as they say 'guilty' it is out of their hands and the senate gets to work at making it disappear.

  13. to be fair, that is what we just saw in the Democratic primaries.
  14. He doesn't inspire, which is why he won't be the nominee. I think the R party is fine with evaluating a black guy fairly -- even intentionally promoting one -- so long as he is within their narrow definition of the acceptable version. Hurd fits into that.
  15. I was thinking this very thing this morning. It is like we are his psychologists, listening to him vent on every issue out there and getting insight into how he thinks. I think this is truly a unique time in history. We have never gotten an unfiltered view into a US President's brain before. Lots a' buffahs. And I expect we never will again. Twitter is a cursed website, but this one aspect is really amazing.
