Been through there plenty of times (once every year or two), they have an amazing gun museum there (worth going through if you’re even an hour away), and a ton of Will Rogers stuff.

Has anyone explained why Trump and, apparently, Mike Lee were invited to speak at the Libertarian convention?
1 hour ago, mdmost said:Who in God's name thought sending him to the Libertarian Convention was a good idea? That person is obviously getting fired but they should be getting a medal for making that pussy finally get a taste of how some people feel about him.
The libertarian candidate got 1.9 million votes in 2020. Trump needs every vote he can get and some libertarian thought to formally invite him after Trump’s people reached out to him (I bet Trump’s people initiated it).
With that said, good move on the part of the libertarians - it’ll get them riled up and make them feel relevant and reaffirm their beliefs that both parties suck.
1 hour ago, mdmost said:But the line about them only getting 3% was pretty great.
Great way to get them to vote for the libertarian candidate. He bruised their egos.

Next he's gonna tell us Wally Pryor is no longer.
What about Cactus Pryor? I have his phone number from when I used to work on his computer back in the late 90s, I should call him up.

I was banging this gal for a few years, whose husband was an immigrant from Adana Turkey. He got his citizenship like over 20 years ago - I can't remember if it was late 90s or early 2000s and I never asked him if it was before or after 9/11 (seems like it might have become a little more difficult for some regions after 9/11).
I do remember asking him every now and then if he was from Adama, Turkey, and he'd get kind of irritated and say "no, it's Adana, Turkey" and then I'd say "so say we all".

Libertarian views on issues reads like a 3rd grader describe ice cream
I’m sure MAGA loves this:
Libertarians believe that if someone is peaceful, they should be welcome to immigrate to the United States.
Libertarians believe that people should be able to travel freely as long as they are peaceful. We welcome immigrants who come seeking a better life. The vast majority of immigrants are very peaceful and highly productive.
Indeed, the United States is a country of immigrants, of all backgrounds and walks of life…some families have just been here for more generations than others. Newcomers bring great vitality to our society.
A truly free market requires the free movement of people, not just products and ideas.
Whether they are from India or Mexico, whether they have advanced degrees or very little education, immigrants have one great thing in common: they bravely left their familiar surroundings in search of a better life. Many are fleeing extreme poverty and violence and are searching for a free and safe place to try to build their lives. We respect and admire their courage and are proud that they see the United States as a place of freedom, stability, and prosperity.
Of course, if someone has a record of violence, credible plans for violence, or acts violently, then Libertarians support blocking their entry, deporting, and/or prosecuting and imprisoning them, depending on the offense.
Libertarians do not support classifying undocumented immigrants as criminals. Our current immigration system is an embarrassment. People who would like to follow the legal procedures are unable to because these procedures are so complex and expensive and lengthy. If Americans want immigrants to enter through legal channels, we need to make those channels fair, reasonable, and accessible.

Holy shit, libertarians are more sane than the gop, because they appear to at least know that Donald Trump is a stupid piece of shit. What a time we live in.
They are extremely full of themselves. Game recognizes game.

He doesn’t let anyone use his name or likeness without getting paid. Aside from contacting any authorities over laws broken or skirted, making Trumpco aware of this might provide some interesting issues for whomever did it.
That’s probably why there was no real identifying information on it, otherwise Trump gets paid or they get badmouthed.

I agree but unlike 1860s, it won’t be regional. It’ll be within every major metro area. Neighbor versus neighbor.
Most Americans, even the poor ones, are too comfortable to fuck around and find out in terms of risking things like electricity, running water, the internet, etc.
Shit, the preppers couldn’t handle not being able to go to SuperCuts for a haircut or eating at Chilis. Those people should have been the most prepared, but turned out to be the biggest fucking snowflakes.

A long time ago, I downloaded some videos from YouTube of some bootleg music performances. I use some gray market app that I side loaded onto my phone to do the download. That app has long since stopped being supported, and the app was all in Japanese.
Do you have a Mac and have you tried plugging the phone into it? You maybe able to access the file system the normal Finder way (that replaced iTunes) or get an older Mac that has ITunes on it. Or iMazing or the other billion apps that can do it.

Inshallah he loses again, but as of right now we need to planning contingencies for a second Trump presidency, because despite the GOP being in turmoil there’s about an 80% chance that Trump pulls about 280-300 electoral votes in pretty clear fashion. Operating under a different assumption as of right now is just whistling past the graveyard.
I can tell people I’m going to win the lottery, but unless I buy a ticket there’s no chance I will.
He’s just done a rally in the Bronx, in a state he will not win. Way too many of his rallies are not true campaign rallies, but instead legal defense fundraisers, because too many are in states that he will either easily win or easily lose. He’s spending too much of his free time golfing or bitching on a social media platform his fans aren’t using. There are battleground states that he should be spending weeks in, and when he bothers to do a rally in them, it’s to fly in and then quickly fly out.
I know he hates his fans and most of the battleground states, but shit, he should at least spend a week or two here and there canvassing those states.. Except that would cost money, and even though it’s campaign money, he considers it his money so he won’t put his money or time into it. And avoiding those states or refusing to help the down-ballot folks hurts him and them - look at the financial clusterfucks some of these states have with their Republican organizations that impact their ability to GOTV at the local level.
Multiple times a year, for the last 20+ years, I have to make trips to West Texas, East Texas, and North Texas/Oklahoma/Arkansas/Missouri to visit family and friends, so it’s been easy to notice the amount of public enthusiasm over the years for various Republican candidates. The public lack of enthusiasm for Trump is extremely noticeable now versus 2020.

Or you don’t want your gf/spouse/family freaking out after stumbling across your Amazon order history. It can also (sometimes) be cheaper if you order lube by the case or even barrel, than online. Just be careful that the manufacturer’s seals weren’t broken, and the store removed some of the product and replaced it with water.
