  1. Sounds good. I'll check with my daughter (no pics) who lives there. See if there are others that want to join or if she has other ideas for tailgating.
  2. I'll be at Kentucky also with about eight others. I've been to one football game there years ago. Tailgate scene was decent. Expect a friendly crowd. I did a quick check and to reserve a tailgate setup from RevelXP is $1200 - the most expensive game of the year. Even more than their Tennessee game. The Texas game is Homecoming and Parents Weekend. Go figure. We plan to go to Kenneland on Friday. Since the game is Saturday night, we are deciding on whether to go to Kenneland again, bourbon trail, or all day tailgate. https://revelxp.com/kentucky-tailgates?selectedEvent=3591&selectedLocation=20
  3. <channeling my inner satya> DOOMED!
  4. Poor Iowa State. No respect. Tied with aggy in points, but listed as #22 in graphic.
  5. Oregon hosting Grateful Dead game against Wisky. https://goducks.com/news/2025/7/30/football-autzen-to-host-grateful-ducks-game-oct-25
  6. Yes, against S Korea. Think Klinsmann scored two goals.
  7. They're engineers. What did you expect?
  8. The Quarterfinal match between Brazil and The Netherlands at the Cotton Bowl was probably the best match of the tournament.
  9. Had the same reaction when a friend suggested staying there before the game in Ann Arbor.
  10. This line is amazing. Improved depth? In-house development? Or ... just spit-balling here ... the starters from last year sucked.
  11. And a side note. Mike Price of Washington State quit before the Rose Bowl to take the Alabama job (replacing Franchione). He was fired there before ever coaching a game. Strip clubs and such. <Costanza wasthatwrong.gif>
  12. 1994. We ended up playing Baylor Thanksgiving weekend.
  13. How 'bout a smoke and a Fresca? Len Dawson was a legend.
  14. Looking forward to the game in October in Lex. Keeneland Friday and game on Saturday. Lexington is a very fun town and that part of Kentucky is beautiful. To bring it back to recruiting, should I be worried about the numbers? Seems like I should.
  15. Hey! My daughter resembles that remark. She went to Kentucky. First student from Westlake to attend as far as we could determine. She was accepted to UT, but was crazy about the horse racing industry, and UK was nice enough to offer a full ride. She says Westlake was harder that UK, but the connections she made in the industry around Lexington were worth it.
  16. Right. Confusing post. $4.9M?
  17. I remember the whole family gathered around the radio in the kitchen listening to the game. I was a 9 year old punk. Screamed like a little girl when Spreyer caught the TD pass. Good memories.
  18. Thanks for organizing, @TexasEd. Also nice to have met you @West Kerr Horn. Keep up the good work.
  19. In. Sent DM.
  20. The 6th Street Cowboy guy is great. My daughter became friends with him a few years ago. She was married off S 1st last year and Sam came by with two horse. My daughter and new son-in-law rode off into the sunset (well, S Congress and S 1st area). It was hilarious. (My daughter and SIL are both in the horse industry in Kentucky so made complete sense.)
  21. But it's a MAJOR SOURCE!!!
  22. You're right. It shouldn't stay at 12. It should go down to 6 or 8. There is only 2-5 teams max each year that are clearly better than everyone else.
  23. Was at that game. The flag was bullshit.
