  1. If Arch is the starter, I expect a little more of a struggle. By struggle I mean we don't win by 40+. Like 25+.
  2. I think Texas should start with a highlight video honoring him and check the reaction in the stadium. The pain he inflicted in Aggie blowouts alone should be met with laughter and applause. Wins at Lincoln and Manhattan…..for a long while he was the only QB who had won in Manhattan.
  3. I remember numerous posts about the Melton, Colt class being damn near a homerun and saving Mack’s hide. Posts laughing at Muschamp pointing out Texas wasn’t as talented as one would think. Did you make all of them? You are amazing!!!! I remember you leading the charge and being ridiculed for it. But lots of posters wondered how a converted WR was our starting RB in 2008. There was nothing behind Blaine Irby. When Mack shifted the offensive philosophy in 2010, that didn’t go over well with the majority. The Rice game shocked a lot of people.
  4. Most could see the dip in effort on the trail. Very little elite talent on offense masked by a college stud at QB.
  5. 2023 had 1 top 100 player in it. 2025 has 7
  6. He’s 1-2 against OU and Arkansas was a disaster. I hope he’s learned but this will be another level after 12 years.
  7. I’m glad Arch is learning with meaningful snaps but it’s obvious Quinn is so far ahead of him, as he should be. Ready for QB1 to return.
  8. Sounds like he made a lot of progress and likely wants to play. I think he’s back next week
  9. The defense hasn't been tested much to this point. The back end is improved and much faster, that is plain to see. There is a monster coming off the edge now, that much is plain to see. Once we get to OU and Georgia, we will know a lot more. Not that they are great offenses but you'll have to play sound against both.
  10. Carryover from Beard? Feels like we’ve seen that before.
  11. Should be fun
  12. Solid 8th year guy
  13. Giving them more to prepare for isn’t a bad thing.
  14. I don’t think Sark has discarded his love for taking shots. Some is game planning, clearly Helm was a huge emphasis. There’s also the fact that we have a 3rd year QB that understands what he’s looking at. Young players default to throwing deep when they don’t know where everyone is/should be.
  15. His arm strength was on full display on the TD pass before the half. That was a seed and the DB never had a chance to get near that thing. Just because he doesn’t wind up and throw rocket balls doesn’t mean he doesn’t let some throws rip. He’s putting it all together but a lot of this isn’t new.
  16. Ewers threw it at least twice. One called back for holding where he took a solid shot.
  17. This is not a good team. Barely getting a challenge on D
  18. Ewers is dialed in
  19. A fantastic throw at a very tough angle. Absolute dime
  20. Well slap my ass and call me Sally
  21. I’ll believe Smart suspends Etienne when I see it.
  22. Have to size down on the Classic Fit from Peter Millar. Tailored Fit should be true to size
  23. We need a third, inexperienced RB vs Michigan? Swell
  24. It's interesting that injuries robbed both Balbay and Brown of their potential. Balbay spent off-seasons rehabbing a knee and it kept him from improving his shot. I definitely wouldn't call Brown a "low IQ" player. He was terrific at seeing the floor (reckless, yes), understood spacing, entry passes and moving without the basketball. Obviously maturity (more than injury) was his biggest issue. Doj was a coach's dream, especially the one he played for. Guard recruiting was very interesting under Barnes. Lots of guys that were not strong ball handlers, couldn't beat anyone off the bounce or were weak shooters. Most of those toward the end of his tenure.
  25. I’d be surprised if Ace or Grubbs are starters but it’ll be nice to have competition
