  5. It was a good year see yall in ‘26
  6. This twins team is not good right now… so of course Espada taunts the baseball gods with this lineup and putting Walter out there for the 7th
  7. and just like that Espada is fucking around…
  8. It would be different if there were only 17 games…or 81. I stopped going on Father’s Day, in part, because of shit like this.
  9. Dana, segment 2: Yordan: out a month and a half now; he's 80% healed; feeling really good; no pain at all; next step is get a bat in his hands; not going on the next road trip but maybe see him after that. Spaghetti: throwing flat ground; feels outstanding. not supposed to be throwing as hard as he is. but feels really good, next step will get some bullpens. Matthews: need to see him make more contact; combinations of swing decisions and chases a little bit; once he gets to a place he is making really good contact and driving the ball...he is on his way. Draft: 21st pick; narrowed down a few guys we think will be there. next pick is at 95, think we'll get a really good play there as there is a lot of depth in this draft.
  10. Dana: Melton: will be at least 4 weeks (jesus) Paredes: think for sure we will see him in the next series in Sacramento. maybe game 2 or 3 Chas: doing all baseball activities; back in next couple of weeks or so Dezenzo: not doing anything yet; feels no pain; will get some more imaging to make sure he is healing properly.
  11. Ducking clase. blows our 5.5 game lead
  12. It’s an odd year… aka a Hader good year… of course, we gave him a deal that only includes 2 odd years and 3 even years.
  13. 5 Ks on 23 pitches yes please
  14. We’re 69 games, 42.5%, of the way through the season, having faced the 9th hardest strength of schedule of the majors. Let’s assess where we stand. Of our opening day 2-4 hitters: One has played in 29 games (none since May 2, and likely after the All Star break before he plays in another) and has a WAR of -0.5 Another will be lucky to avoid an IL stint And the third has an OPS of .643 On the pitching side, 3 of our opening day rotation are on the IL (and have only given you 17 starts) 16 starts (23%) have come from Ryan Gusto, Colton Gordon and Brandon Walter Forrest Whitley has been DFA’d We’re 9 games over .500 with the 3rd best record in the AL and currently sitting with a 5 game lead in the West with a chance to be 5.5 up at the end of the night if the Guardians can break a 2-2 tie in the 6th and hold on to beat the M’s in Seattle. Whether lucky or good, Dana is living right. Go team!
  15. Should have pushed harder with the Rays if they were really interested in Whitley (granted, we had no leverage) Dana was trying to move him in the offseason and talking with the Rays about him them.
  16. They always do. it’s one of best parts about watching the CWS.
  17. CWS cameramen in championship series form on opening night
  18. Our fanbase is stupid How is Hidalgo not the Unanimous winner in that poll?
  19. Great. Diaz becomes another DH on a roster already full of them
