So you're saying you fuck hookers. Nice plan.

See my earlier post about my shitty negotiating skills. Plus 20 years in she’s still taking care of her duties in that department. Not working can be beneficial.

He caught 50 balls but how many were of any impact lately? We could spread his catches to more meaningful plays. He was too much of a safety net at times for Dak. Where it became counter productive. Maybe now Dak can look further down field instead of the 3 yard Witten routes that the defense didn't cover because he couldn't move any longer. I'm excited to see a Dez/Witten less offense moving forward.

Do you think Dak is ready to lead both in what he says and by example because I’m not real sure about it? Dallas is a player led team not a coach led team and there is a reason you see a lot of former Cowboys saying they appreciate Witten teaching them how to be a professional football player. There is also a reason that writers are saying it’s the first time in 15 years Witten’s vehicle isn’t in the parking lot on a voluntary workout day.

As a fan it’s not wrong to say his off the field contributions are going to be missed even though his on the field contributions have diminished significantly.

  3. After alimony and child support and giving up half my shit, I wouldn’t be able to afford any of those people. Plus, unlike a number of people on this board I actually like my wife and have it pretty easy. I just pay extra for outside services that she could logically take care of.

My wife and I discussed and agreed that she would do most of the laundry, etc if she quit work to stay home with the kids.  Eight years later, she has not gotten a job and guess who washes his own shit most of the time.  Good luck with your agreement.

I’m batting o-fer on these type of deals. Put in pool, she keeps it clean. Nope. Quit work, she gets rid of housekeeper and cleans and cooks. Nope. I could keep going but it doesn’t look favorably upon me and my negotiating skills so I’ll stop.

It's pretty insane that he's approaching 2k posts already.

If Rocko and Derka can get a mental health ban, it might be helpful for Hugo to get the same.  There are plenty of other leftists that can ctrl+c and ctrl+v while he's gone.

He’s trying to replace FC’s board spamming, he just uses more words.

I remember Grendel very well. He never bothered me, though. I didn't think he needed to be crowd sourced.

Your taste is somewhat eclectic, so this makes sense.

As you noted Hugo is the old Derka of the politics board. He is starting to spread out from there which is a problem for everyone.

a few months ago, I think I posted this on the old board. We recently bought a house and needed a few thing :

Wife "Do we have enough money to buy a tooth brush holder?

me with a very confused look on my face "A what?

    Wife "A tooth brush holder?"

Me "Like the plastic cup thing that holds tooth bushes in our bathroom. That Costs like $3"

    Her "yes"

me " Please don't ask me every time you want to spend $3. We're not destitute, just buy the damn thing"

Couple of days later I notice there is a mason jar there.

me "Why is there a mason jar here? I thought you were going to buy a tooth brush holder?"

Her "I figured we could save the $3 and use something we already had."

That's fine and all, I don't really give a shit where we put them. Fast forward to this morning:

Me : " Why is my toothbrush in a Dickey's cup?"

Her "I didn't know if we had the budget for a toothbrush holder this month"

Me "Really, How much did spend on really bad BBQ???"

I should introduce you to my wife. You will understand the benefits to the above conversation with your wife then.

I think you meant gay man.  They have better design sense than dykes, if I have my stereotypes right.  Anyway, not liking wall colors classifies as gay these days?  Tough crowd.

I think if you asked my what colors the walls in our house were and I wasn’t sitting at home, I could get tan and maybe blue but the others I’m not sure. Part of that is because she gets rooms painted more frequently than normal, but part is because I just don’t pay attention to it especially upstairs.

I wonder hoow that works out for you.  Many people who put those kind of hours in can't fill the void left when they don't have that in their lives any more...

When I'm not stressed (time stress not the actual work which I love). I start to feel like I need more work.  50- 60 hours a week feels right to me.

This is my life. I couldn’t work a 40 hour week on average if I wanted to and I would probably drive my wife nuts if I tried. It’s the same reason I can’t take long flights, I don’t function well with down time and my ADD kicking in. My work isn’t as much client service any more though so a chunk of that time is spent running the business, working on acquisitions, long range planning, etc.

  10. Back home and enjoy your week off where the baby can be back on a schedule.

I would not want to go cross country with a 3 month old although you’re pretty well covering that with Dallas/NYC. Charleston and the areas in the South/East would be decent although it may be a little warm. The other areas mentioned would work, but what about the upper Michigan area like Mackinack or somewhere through there? You have outdoors, stuff to see/do, decent weather, etc. and it’s not too far outside your flight path home.

  11. Depends on where you stay, your definition of sanitized, and what you’re looking for. We rented a house in Rum Point away from the main tourist areas and ate the local places there and on the East End. We made one trip over to the Seven Mile Beach area for the kids to go to the turtle center and that was it. When we go to the Caribbean we look for some place where we can get a house away from the resort areas on the beach, it be relatively safe and accessible, and there are other things to do.
