  1. Who doesn't?
  2. The volume of original TV programming right now is absurd (559 original scripted shows in 2021 compared to 182 in 2002). That volume yields both outstanding shows and historically awful shows (such as Velma). People are almost as interested in awful entertainment as they are with excellent. The vast mediocre middle is generally ignored. I doubt Kaling and Co. intentionally set out to develop a pile of elephant shit but failing so dramatically may be a better career move than producing something forgettable like the hundreds of shows that are never mentioned in the cultural discourse.

Jozy's EPL strike rate of 1 goal every 35 games is one of my favorite stats

  6. His DNA on the murder weapon case left at the crime scene Video of his car basically driving from his apartment to the crime scene and back home His cell phone pinging towers along the route to and from the crime scene I wonder if he will plead guilty to avoid the DP

Sounds like Danielle Reyna flew off the handle after Gregg's conference remarks regarding Gio were leaked. She then called Earnie Stewart and told him about the kicking incident which triggered an investigation obligation.

Dipshit is gone. USSF's only ethical violations involving Gregg relate to the process it undertook to hire him.

  10. There are many families in my neighborhood who rely on their parents to finance their lifestyle to various degrees. The ridiculous competition for housing increased this reliance as all cash offers became necessary to win competitive bidding situations, the sources of which are often provided by by parents. They annoy me about as much as mannies (house husbands for the uninitiated) and used to bother me more when I was really busting my ass and never seeing my kids while they were on the golf course 4 days a week. In my experience, these types tend to congregate, are nice enough, frequently involve MILFs in yoga pants and don't include the Karens that I actually have issues with.
  11. Pathetic pen. Such a weak ref
  12. This virus could decide the final. All of the French CBs are now sick and Rabiot still hasn't full recovered which suggests the CBs won't be anywhere near 100% for the final.
  13. Carter, Clinton and Biden. Trump and Kushner. Putin and Zelensky. Coppola, Scorsese, Pacino, DeNiro and Pesci. Crosby (David and Sidney) and Cosby. Prince Harry and King Charles.
  14. What has anyone learned about Qatar through this world cup that hasn't just reinforced pre-existing stereotypes? Qatar is exactly what everyone thought it was and few will ever think of it again.

No question but it is a very convenience justification for keeping greggg or hiring some MLS coach. "We can't afford the names everyone wants"

Gregg makes less than $1.5 million while LVG makes almost $3 million for the Netherlands. Jesse Marsch makes more than $3.5 million for Leeds while the big club managers make over $10 million.

The USMNT podcasters are suggesting that the USMNT coach budget is limited to $2 million annually because of institutional fixation on equal resource usage for the USMNT and the USWNT. If true, this caps our candidate pool at the likes of Roberto Martinez.

From what I can tell, only from Berhalter's agent, his supporters in the media and those regurgitating what they are hearing from Berhalter's agent and supporters in the media.

Why the fuck would gregg hold a vote including low level staffers? You are the manager. Manage. "But how does the masseuse feel about Gio's attitude?" Gio clearly has an attitude issue. Anyone who has watched him closely at Dortmund knows that his effort level directly corresponds to his form. If he is off, he is among the laziest players I have ever seen at that level. It can be shocking. I imagine that Greggg told Gio early in camp that he wasn't starting and Gio basically shut it down from there. It's ultimately on Gio for being an insufferable brat but the situation also indicts Greggg's man-management skills. Greggg's "leaking" of the story is ridiculous. Steve Sampson didn't confirm for years why John Harkes was dropped from the 98 squad although doing so would have spared him a ton of criticism. Ironically, greggg's attempts at deflecting the heat for not playing Gio may ultimately cost him the job because bringing Gio back on board for 2026 is far more important than retaining a shitty manager whose brother used to run the USSF. The hilarious element of the story how satisfied greggg clearly is with respect to his handling of the situation.
