  1. The number 7 was a theme throughout right? I know it came up some other times but I'm straight blanking on what. I didn't catch the 7 hot dogs.
  2. Was there something odd about the sound mix or was it just my theater? The sound was low. Especially dialog. Assuming it was an issue with the speakers or something. Pretty much ruined the experience bc it was so distracting. Audio/visual problems at a theater really grind my gears. It was like everyone else was under mind control. I'm like how is this not bothering anyone else?
  3. 100% this. Very reminiscent of the West Memphis Three case. Whoever committed that crime was mature, criminally sophisticated, and possessed the ability to maintain a cool head under tremendous stress while they hid the bodies. Thinking a group of teenage knuckleheads would, or even could, pull that off is so fucking far off the right track.
  4. Yeah I caught it but still didn't know what happened. I saw the little round bulge pop out his neck but thought it was some fear response or something.
  5. I'm okay being a bit vulnerable. My college years were during Mack's 0-5 streak. I have OU related UTSD that will never be cured, only managed.
  6. Yeah. Posted in the wrong gd thread. Fuck.
  7. I'm three months late, but had to chime in to rep what might be the most unexpected stray ever caught on the internet. Fatty Arbuckle?! Fucking savage, bro. Poor guy was acquitted, too. Also jumped in to comment on what I heard on Todd McShay's show today. I know next to nothing about 2025 OU and saw he was previewing them, so listened out of curiousity. And wow, was I not expecting the wet, gushing tongue fucking McShay gave Venables. When he wasn't glowingly recounting some male bonding experience with Venables (something about almost getting bowled over by him on the field after a Clemson win), McShay propagandized this roster as if they are the best team in the country. Per McShay's sources aka his buddies on the staff, Mateer is bigger, stronger Baker Mayfield and 10 times better than they expected him to be. Then he said something along the lines of: "OU has the best Dline in the SEC, but the DB room is actually the best on the team." I'd be lying if I said it didn't make me a bit nervous. Really hope McShay is loud wrong and has to eat shit on this take.
  8. This reminds me, I never played Alien Isolation. Got it free withinin the last few years and it's been sitting in one of my PC game libraries. Been meaning to check it out.
  9. Four days early, huh? Welp, see ya later!
  10. sick needle drop at the end of ep2.
  11. Love THE LIMEY. That movie made me a fan.
  12. Uhhh beg your pardon? You know how we roll here. Tear the whole thing down.
  13. Non-iOS related but I recently stumbled into the world of Wii modding. Had a Wii that's been collecting dust for a decade, pulled it out to see if it worked, and was merely googling if I could get a Wii Pro controller to work with a Gamecube game. Three days, a $9 SD card, a $50 hard drive, and one 40min Youtube guide later, I had a hax0red Wii with an NES, SNES, N64, PS1, and GC emulator along with a bunch of new Wii games. It's pretty awesome what this little machine can do with very little effort and expertise required.
  14. My GTAV zone out activity was pushing hikers off cliffs along those same trails.
  15. The first home game the following year is always when they do the ring/banner presentation afaik. And Durant has two rings anyway so idk how this could in any way be construed as petty.
  16. I heard a stat about Worthy on a fantasy show recently. His catch rate on deep balls sucked last year. Not to defend Quinn but maybe they both aren't good at deep passes.
  17. @BurntEyes i am pro Eyes Wide Shut for sure. Still have a great memory of seeing that opening night at the Tinseltown 290 in Houston. I was sitting next to this old hippie stoner with a joint tucked behind his ear. He slept through the entire movie from the VERY beginning, periodically waking up to crankily blurt out, "this movie sucks!" Also forgot Three Kings.
  18. Me, too. 1999 is strong for the nostalgia. Such a memorable, formative year. But no QT or Coen Bros film is a drag. More movies not on your list (that I would watch before Bicentennial man): The Insider, Dogma, Ninth Gate, The Iron Giant, The Talented Mr. Ripley, Toy Story 2, But I'm a Cheerleader, Audition, South Park, Varsity Blues, The Straight Story, eXistenz. '94 is just loaded with rewatchables though.
  19. Not necessarily a serial killer but probably people with a history of violent and abusive behavior.
  20. Every fan club and facebook group related to true crime, wrongful convictions, etc is at least 50% middle aged white women.
  21. I have played a few missions on PC. Bought it on sale recently at Green Man Gaming. It seems pretty good if you want to play a super realistic, slow paced police milsim type game like the old SWATs. There isn't much depth or story though from what I've seen. Mostly about just playing through missions and replaying them if you want to improve your score. The online play is co-op only btw, there's no pvp mode.
  22. Pretty fucking hilarious. Not every joke landed for me, but I laughed a lot.
  23. Yeah this is a lot of fun so far. Not totally caught up so skimmed the thread with one eye closed. Michael C. Hall is just so interesting to watch. And the way he can deliver almost any line in a way that makes me laugh is a gift. That dry Dexter sarcasm slays me pun intended.
