Utah has been quiet as a church mouse. Are there any hard rumors that they're ready to move to the B12? All I've seen is twitter speculation, nothing from their admin.
Just now, Sir Ulrich said:I misread that as "Fully engorged" but I think it works either way.

Common board of regents with ASU, and ASU president Crow is pushing hard to stay in PAC. BOR has to approve Arizona departure, and they want Arizona and ASU in the same conference.
That Apple offer expires tonight, I read somewhere. What if the board tells AZ they have to stay with ASU and then AZ files some sort of appeal? They could threaten to drag this out until after the deal is off the table. Some kobayashi maru kind of shit.

Scheer is reporting WSU and OSU are offering to cut their share and give it directly to UO/ UW.
Why would Arizona care enough to allow this to affect their decision?

I wonder if Oregon got some concessions in order to stay. There has to be something extra in it for them.

Athletic Director at UNC.
As an OSU fan, if anyone should have an AD named "Bubba", it should be us.

With the rest of the statement:
Obviously Athletics Directors are not the ones calling the shots here, but this does not exactly sound like the words of someone that is about the leave the conference. I love the last part about waiting until 2036 and then you can do whatever you want.
Who is "BubbaUNC" and why should I give a fuck what he thinks? If it's a person of note, why doesn't the author of the tweet name him, as well as tagging him?

My wife has a family friend, he's more like a second father to her. He got sent to Nam right after he got married. He and his wife got to meet in Hawaii for his R&R during the war, that was their honeymoon. Fast forward 50+ years and his health isn't good. They decided to re-enact that trip and go back to Hawaii. His doctors were iffy on it but didn't outright forbid it, so they went. They were on the return flight home when he started having issues. Had to stop in Denver and they told their kids to get there ASAP, as it wasn't looking good. My wife got the news last night and was a mess. By some miracle, he's doing better today but who knows how much longer he's got left. He's such a great guy, I hate to hear about this.

The annual herpes bowl in Albuquerque between Tech and ASU could save the big 12 all by itself.
Careful, that kind of talk will just lure ou back to the B12.

Wait, tater tots for breakfast? Duly noted.
#14 from Sonic, breakfast burrito with tots. If enjoying that is wrong, I don't want to be right.

The Big Ten is waiting out Notre Dame. The Domers probably want Stanford in a conference with them.
And Oregon and UW are waiting junior partners offers from the Big Ten.
So Oregon and UW have some kind of assurance they’ll be the 3rd and 4th teams added if the Big Ten goes to 20?
I just don’t see the Domers going for it. What would distinguish them in a league with 19 other teams?
Rinse and repeat for the SEC. Notre Dame doesn’t want to be an 18 team league either.
Does ND have some sort of out that I've missed (Which is entirely possible)? I thought they were locked in the ACC for years?

I do not like people to eat in my car. I don't want food falling into every nook and cranny and then my car looks like every car my wife has ever driven. Fucking french fries everywhere and shit. Well, we were on our way to Costco this weekend and decided to grab some breakfast on the way, and I was driving. As she opened up her burrito, I made a semi-joke about eating in the car. She laughed and proceeds to eat. It'll be ok, I said.
She's not Italian but she absolutely must talk with her hands at all times. So as I'm driving down the interstate, she tells me the tale of a "freak driver"she encountered the other day, and starts waving her hands (which are holding food) around to....simulate how he changed lanes rapidly? I don't know because I was driving and not looking at her. But I did hear the small thud as a tater tot flew from it's little sleeve and fell somewhere between my seat and the console. "Ooops" she said. She looks down and says meekly, "I'll get it later". To which I sternly reply "How about you get it now??!?". To her credit, she got it out of there without any complaints or drama.

The shanked FG against ISU cost us our chance and it was all the reason they needed to keep us out. When you're not a blue blood the margin of error is zero. It also cost Weeden the Heisman. The only way I cope with it is to convince myself we wouldn't have given OU the beat down we did had the NC game been on the line. Or something. That game killed college football for me and I haven't really given much of a shit since.
That wasn't a shank. That fucker was good. You'll never convince me otherwise.

10 years ago, this old woman in my office retired and I took over her position. She didn't clean out the cabinets in the cubicle, just took her personal shit and left. So I'm going through the drawers and cabinets and I found a 1977 agency phone directory. I still have that fucker and have no plans to get rid of it.

So what? This guy seems to be a respected, legitimate resource that was in a position to capture leaks from within these programs. And, he appears at this time to have no personal agenda. This story should be all over the news, imo, unless I’m missing something.
Robert Hanssen was a respected, legitimate FBI agent and never appeared to be a piece of shit but look how that turned out. Sometimes people aren't what you think they are.

I believe it. Oregon takes a lot of talent out of Southern California.
Nobody else in that league seems to be using it, so why not let Oregon have a go?

Yes the sidelines are so dangerous that zeros of players have actually been injured because of the sidelines in the past 80 years.
And because they never play in Norman and never notice it, no one on here talks shit about ou's narrow sidelines, either.

My dad while he was alive would video tape Cubs games every day. For years. He never watched them. He wasn’t a Cubs fan.

3. Never negotiate in person, always via email.
I've tried this and it never works. They all reply to my email with some variation of "You have to come in person and see the car before we talk pricing". When I balk, they say "Oh well" and that's the end of it. They don't even write back after a few days to see if I'm still interested. Maybe it works better in a larger metro area that has more dealerships?

If I'm Lebron, billionaire athlete who's pushing 40 and a guy with a lot of business ventures going on, I retire from the NBA and go be with my family. That shit happening to one of my kids is terrifying to think about. Fuck basketball.

That's a function of 1) our respective families being poor for a long time, so there just wasn't much of any real value accumulated,
Agreed. Both of my folks came from poor/low class families. My mom's side came from Greece and I don't think my great-grandpa had a pot to piss in when he got off the boat, but I'll never really know.
My folks busted their asses and sacrificed to get ahead and give me and my sister a great upbringing. I'll treasure that more than any physical item. But yeah, I wish my pop had bought a Rolex, dammit.

I have a 12 gauge single shot that was made in the town I was born. Belonged to my grandfather who gave it to my dad who gave it to me. My son is already excited about the thought of having it. Something cool about holding history in your hand that transcends value.
I have two daughters, you do the math. But I do have a 3 month old grandson, maybe he'll want this shit.
