  1. Hello, soon to be neighbor. Moving to the 78628 in a few weeks.
  2. It's the only way to be safe. Turn around, don't drown.
  3. 1/2” rain and as a special bonus, it knocked out the last remaining oak pollen remnants lingering in the trees.
  4. That guy is a fucking cunt and I hope that place burns down.
  5. Hopefully. But really, who cares? He won't be fighting any more either way.
  6. Petition to remove Garza https://www.kxan.com/video/petition-to-remove-travis-county-da-josé-garza-granted/9624161/
  7. The light at old spice wood springs and 360 has been ill timed since November. It basically rotates through every scenario in the rotation, every time, regardless if anyone is waiting in one of the directions. I had an hour long convo with a very helpful woman from txdot that leads the 360 construction project back in February and she was more than willing to help. The next day she told me that COA is actually responsible for all lights on 360. I put in a request to COA online. It was immediately marked as closed and nothing has happened in 3 months. Good luck.
  8. Well, to be fair, the hiring of Cronk was an even bigger shitshow than the firing of Cronk.
  9. If it hits anywhere near Houston, it won't come anywhere near Austin. They need to hit the Texas coast between Corpus and SPI to get to the Austin area.
  10. Been 7-8 minutes of solid rolling thunder above my house near 360/2222. Like nonstop steady roll. Rain just started.
  11. You say this, but I can tell you that my MIL asked me last night, in all seriousness, if she needed to get some eclipse glasses to watch the event on TV?
  12. She is at Hofstra University in Hempstead on Long Island. I admittedly do not know where the epicenter was.
  13. Yes, because you have an example of one single other shirt in existence, that means his "hustle game is weak" because his is at the printer less than five hours after the event. Eat a cock, fuckface.
  14. Thanks. His day job is repping expensive men's italian clothing, so he has all of the clothing industry connections to get them done quickly. He is definitely a hustler.
  15. This is awesome. My son is actively working on a similar shirt as we speak.
  16. It's funny how people can all experience the same event and how they report it. My son was at work in Chelsea when it happened. He immediately texted me and said "Dad, in a about 30 minutes you are going to be inundated with news about the New York earthquake. Just know that it was nothing. I felt it for a few seconds and it was over. It was barely anything." My GF's daughter lives 20 miles away (as the crow flies), and her report to her mom was "It shook so bad I almost fell out of my bed".
  17. I am not going to cloak room this thread but there are ways to work that.
  18. Why are we still pretending to be friends with China and doing business with them?
  19. I assume that is to try and get all of the russians in crimea to move out faster, rather than just openly divulging war strategy.
  20. It wasn't that they were off by that much. They knew that they were underbudgeting so that the number would look better on a ballot. Once it was approved by the voters, there is no repercussion to saying "whoops! sorry. we missed it by a few billion".
  21. Meh...City Managers get fired all of the time. It's part of the job. It is usually because they have been made the scapegoat for something they had nothing to do with, or because there was Council turnover and the new council wanted to hire their own guy. I'm not saying this is a good hire or that every CM that gets fired isn't for a good reason. I am simply saying that City Manager's get fired all of the time for a lot of reasons that don't necessarily mean they suck.
  22. Meh...it's got dark tint and air conditioned seats
  23. The post i quoted and responded to clearly stated that all cops are bad.
  24. Let’s get rid of all of them then. Let’s just roll with no police and see what happens. Obviously they are serving no purpose at all right now. So we can save a few hundred million a year and all of Austin will be really happy to be rid of them.
