  1. Ames, while pretty low on my Big XII cities, is notably better than Starkville.
  2. Or our D could score 3 TDs. Even less unlikely Sark could use the plan against OU that our offense can actually execute. I said think, that implies even miracles are possible. Take it to the MSU game thread this thread is for bashing Starkville and MSU academics!
  3. It's probably a different thread but I've been to a lot of road games for Texas and been to a lot of games where Texas wasn't playing but I was in Longhorn gear. With some very rare exceptions (Columbus/OSU) I've largely found that while one might occasionally get a little crap talking from college aged men it's frequently the exception not the rule. Even at Texas vs OU the 30+ crowd may say a Texas sucks prior, that's usually about as bad as it gets. Hell, there a couple of times when I KNOW I was being a jackass and probably earned an ass beating (Kansas State is one example) but didn't get one.
  4. This is not a fabrication as much as it sounds like one. They are very aggie in regards to their cowbells. Part of it, iirc, was because there was a threat at one point of them getting banded altogether.
  5. They go away pretty quickly when MSU is getting blown out. Sadly, I don't think that fact is going to benefit you much.
  6. Fair enough, but aside from Waco and Lubbock the cities the games are in are actually enjoyable. I really like Manhattan, KS as a matter of fact and I once slept with a really hot blonde after a KU game so... its golden in my book.
  7. It's clear Awful Announcing know little about the level of concern regarding the back up QB in Nashville. In fact, the question has come up quiet and bit and a lot of prayers have been prayed hoping Cam stays healthy. They picked the wrong team for this stupid post.
  8. Not if theyre ringing a cowbell constantly.
  9. Minneapolis aside from the brutal cold is a decent city with a shit ton of residents of Nordic ancestry, so there are a goodly number of lookers. Has good food and most of the aggression is passive, which is a bit annoying but fine. I like it better than pretty much every Jersey city and certainly Starkville by an extremely large margin.
  10. Snow? May as well be global thermal nuclear war in Austin.
  11. Are they soon to join the SEC? West Texas State University would like a word with you. I mean they do have the actually cool Palo Duro Canyon close by and the riveting city of Amarillo... so maybe a bad comparison.
  12. This is amazingly accurate. Good call!
  13. Well, next time a hurricane hits Austin I hope the folks living there are well supplied.
  14. I wouldn't suggest putting Hattiesburg on any must see tourist list, but it's substantially better.
  15. I said it in a different thread but when I reach the point where I think, "We'll this will force some changes" regarding winning or losing against a specific team (Kansas cough cough) it's not a good thing.
  16. When College Station is a noticeable upgrade...
  17. We talked about this already. I truly hope you enjoy yourself. I've no desire to relive the experience.
  18. Disagree that nothing will happen, bet there are a lot of football moms panick buying water and toilet paper, cause lord knows when a storm is coming water is what you need most.
  19. What's most frustrating is we didn't abandon the run, Sark just didn't put running the ball in his script. Mind blowing.
  20. Well... I mean. I don't want to go to game Syracuse, mostly cause the ACC is a shit conference but the football and the city are far better options.
  21. I really dislike New Jersey and have had to be there more than I care to admit. It's a utopian paradise in comparison.
  22. Yeah, I've had the good fortune of being in most of those for work or actually attending a game. There aren't many I would choose to go back to, but if forced to do so I'd gladly select all of them prior to returning to Starkville. I mean, it would be a choice with zero hesitation or regret.
  23. You are directing your frustration a one player of 11. We didn't run the ball against Kentucky because early efforts were failing due to Sark using the complex blocking scheme and belief that he could return to the scheme that he had used all year prior to OU. The blame of your frustration is incorrectly placed on a single player. It should correctly be placed on the person deciding the scheme and plays which has already been clearly determined not to work. Arch can't execute the plan our head coach is demanding he play. Repeated efforts to force him to attempt to do so is not the players fault. That you're unable to grasp this simple reality makes it clear discussion with you on the topic is absolutely pointless, so I won't anymore.
  24. You just had to go open that thread derailing can of... frijoles, silly Gator beans are for stew.
  25. Yeah, poor @Nice Guy Eddie is likely to get negbolivianed for even suggesting something that would so greatly reduce billable legal hours.
