  1. Did this guy bother to watch the Houston game. I think Murphy will be alright but, they should be fine with the rest of the schedule? Hope so but the last game didn’t instill a ton of confidence.
  2. If they don’t get pressure on Smith we’re fucked…can’t cover.
  3. What happened to getting sacks? They haven’t gotten to the QB since the Alabama game it seems like.
  4. Partial block on Parra finds holes every time.
  5. Great job by Bergmark holding the block there for the Wenaas kill.
  6. Block needs to get outside quicker when Nalls and Parra are hitting on the left.
  7. Has Texas had any aces? TCU defense and passing has been unreal.
  8. Other than Bergmark, block has been way to slow. Wenaas brings nothing. TCU is playing out of their mind…of course.
  9. I don't remember the coverage team being that close to Worthy. He should have let it go. Conversely, he has let the ball hit the ground more often than not this year away from the goal line. Resulting in loss of field position. He's obviously dynamic with the ball in his hands but his decision making on fielding punts this season has been pretty bad.

The thing that stands out to me from this screenshot is how OU has moved the los to our backfield. Getting beat at the point of attack. I would have liked to see a play action pass to anybody as aggressively as OU was attacking the los on the goal line.
  11. Agreed, but it’s been a problem all year. They are giving up a lot of field position. Shouldn’t be too much to ask to field the punt in the air. Might come back to bite them at some point. Certainly didn’t matter in this game.
  12. Gabriel makes a big difference to OU. The QB that played last year could do nothing.
  13. Would be nice to field a punt and get a return. Better than muffing it though.
  14. I haven't had chance to watch the team much this year but caught the match last night. The biggest drop off, imo, is the chemistry between Swindle and the hitters. Timing just isn't there yet, but that will continue to get better. Passing is an issue, but when is it not with Elliot's teams. As bad (and it was bad) as the passing looked in the first set last night, to their credit, they cleaned it up and passed pretty well the rest of the match. Just a lot of inconsistent play overall, from passing to setting to blocking. As has been mentioned, not surprising with new and transfer players coming in this year. I think they will continue to improve throughout the season and will be quite dangerous come tournament time. I have to mention this, Skinner's back row attack is lethal!
  15. Wouldn’t have thought they would win that match after the first set. That first set was about as bad as I’ve seen in the last…well as long as I can remember.
  16. I think this is the selling point/difference in this one. It's strange how some recruits and their families ignore other data points and incidents that don't fit their moral compass. But that's what elite recruiters do, minimize and explain away abhorrent behavior and incidents with the team, while finding, emphasizing and hand feeding the recruit and especially their families, the exact things they want to hear. Plus, the smaller town thing was probably a pretty big factor for mom.
  17. Gordon coming in. Hope he still has gas in the tank.
  18. Because he wears wristbands… Obvious douche.
  19. Stanford has some good lefties. Not the best matchup for this team. Need some base runners.
  20. Pitching from behind to every batter. Common theme this series. Just the opposite of what Stanford pitching is doing.
