Yeah, Sakic has been amazing for the Avs, both as a player and now a GM/President. I know he's not the GM anymore, but I also know nothing is happening without his blessing. And he and MacFarland are not afraid to make bold moves if they feel it is necessary.
The much more egregious (no) call yesterday was not calling Chet for his 6th when he popped Russ in the face on a drive with 9 minutes to go. That was an immediate 5 point swing (OKC immediately scored a fast break dunk by Chet, no less, and then Malone was called for a tech for protesting the no call) in what was a 5 point game at the time.
I don't have high hopes for tonight's game. Gordon injured his calf again yesterday and is out tonight. Not having your best defender available against OKC is a bad combo.
Look, man, I hate Elon as much as anyone here. But I have to be able to run my business and he is the only game in town for me right now. Supposedly there's a fiber company that is coming but that's probably 6-12 months away.
Unlimited data?
I didn't. But I still have rubes all around me. Starlink is the only internet service I can get and I'm not exactly in the boonies. But I am considered rural.
As soon as I have another option for internet, my Starlink will go immediately in the trash. But rural people don't have a lot of options, unfortunately.
Fully agree on Tesla.
Lots of those people got sucked back into the right wing media machine. My dad is a perfect example. Hated Trump after Jan 6. 2 weeks ago was trying to convince me and my wife that Trump is a good man.
Yeah, I thought Pattinson did a great job. Not a great movie, but it was a fun movie.
My 84 year old dad just got a full set of implants. That's what his teeth look like. It's very unnatural, for sure.
Yeah, I think he and his agent missed the mark on this. They wanted Drai money and only after he left Colorado did he realize nobody is giving him Drai money. Thankfully Necas is a fucking stud. And he skates like Nate and Cale.
I'd go with:
1924 (by a pretty wide margin, but it's also double the price of the others)
1910
1920
1870
My local store still has a shelf full of 1924. But it's priced at $170. Don't think they've sold a single bottle in 3-4 weeks since it showed up.
Tariffs will absolutely obliterate that industry. They export so much bourbon around the world. And from what I've read, they are already looking at a glut of product in the next couple of years without the tariffs.
