  2. Grand Lake is the way to go, IMO. You've got RMNP right there, you can spend a day in the park, drive over Trail Ridge Road, rent boats on the lake, window shop in Grand Lake. Grand Lake will be busy, but shouldn't be overly crowded.
  3. Yeah, Golden is not all that special. It's worth a half day, but no more, IMO.
  4. Bottas is doing some sort of happy hour, it's on his IG.
  5. Also need to remember that Hunter is still just a true sophomore. And coming off an injury so he wasn't in game shape. Prime played him way too many snaps.
  6. Hunter was just gassed and was on an island against #13. They didn't give him any help. He's not superman.
  7. I have a feeling the cartoon dick drawer is the reason most of us non-Horns are here.
  8. We're only 2 games in, but the Avs are looking really sharp so far. If they can stay healthy they will make some noise this season.
  9. Perhaps, just strange for Alpine to publicly comment that a contract has expired, IMO. Is Cadillac coming as an engine supplier eventually, or just a partner with Andretti?
  10. It was the slow motion version of that. Just happened over 2 quarters instead of 30 seconds.
  11. I know it's clickbait, but how can anyone who watched the playoffs put Jok #2?
  12. So I was feeling nostalgic for my old CJ-7, so I priced them out. 20k? I don't think so. It was a piece of shit. It was fun, but a piece of shit.
  13. Yeah, I remember that but neither of them are my team.
  14. Oof, that was quite possibly the most painful loss I've ever seen. Talk about imploding.
  15. Yeah, I have to say I didn't understand Alpine's press release talking about how the Andretti agreement had expired. All I could think about was how shit Alpine is with contracts. Wouldn't they want a customer team?
  16. We've got something like $2k in flight credits with Air Canada for the mess last summer and I'm gunshy about using them. Easily the worst travel experience of my life.
  17. Then it sounds like we agree. That was the source of my confusion. Of course, just don't let them pretend they aren't as much of the problem as the MAGA folks, because they all voted for this shit.
  18. They don't have to vote for any candidate, fwiw. Not voting is also a choice. You seem to be saying that these voters should get to have it both ways - vote Republican but also distance themselves from all the MAGA bullshit that voting R entails. I vehemently disagree with this notion.
  19. But it does, because along with their single issue, they're voting for all the other bullshit. If you can't understand this, I don't know what to say.
  20. I agree, but he specifically said he believes many of them do understand the consequences of their actions, and they still vote R. Yet he doesn't think they are MAGA? That's why I'm confused
  21. Dude, I'm seriously trying to understand your point here.
  22. You are the one saying these people are smart and understand that their vote means they support the candidates' platforms. So their vote supports MAGA and they know it does, but they somehow still aren't MAGA folks? Not sure how you get form A to B on those mental gymnastics.
  23. Then why do you keep saying Republican voters aren't necessarily MAGA? They are voting for MAGA policies (whatever that means these days - it's all fucking lunacy). They are excusing Jan 6 as no big deal. They are saying they want a Trump dictatorship if they pull the lever for him one more time. If it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck it doesn't matter if they say they aren't MAGA. They are. They don't do plans. They just fundraise off pithy comments.
  24. Yeah, I made that comment and then read the rest of this thread to catch up. It is amazing to me how many people don't understand that if you pull the lever for them, you're giving a tacit endorsement to how they will operate in office. I don't care if being pro-life is your only issue. If you vote for Trump or any of the other MAGA assholes, you're endorsing their actions (and most importantly, their votes) on incredibly important issues.
