  1. I think he meant "whatever bullshit show they have to fill time before Survivor comes back" always end once it's Survivor/TAR time. Can we just say you are correct and move on and not have this take up 2 pages of this thread? Phil? Is that cool with you? Take one for the team here?
  2. I don't know how much they really have talked about the magic trees on the show. I could tell you, but it's book related and, well....... Just go ahead and read all the books. It's only 3,000 pages or so. You can knock that shit out in a weekend.
  3. But I was told I could do whatever I wanted.
  4. Really? I have a theory about some book related stuff I'd like to get into concerning Laenor. It's a bit book faggy, in the most literal sense.
  5. He would probably say "I hope you recover quickly from your concussion". You've been victimized by Frankenediting. That did not go down that way at all apparently. Leo was on his way to the hospital and that clip of Leo after the challenge wasn't actually from after the challenge.

Or don't cast racists and misogynists.

But you like Kyle and his girlfriend? Wow. Turner, sure. Terrance has grown on me a little, now that he's playing the game. But the showmance couple is awful and negates any chance of me rooting for their alliance.
  8. Interesting. That completely contradicts what Tywin said in the show. So I guess they did add that whole thing about only 3 smiths being able to rework Valyrian steel. Seems like an odd thing to add when you've already cast someone to play the guy who actually did it.
  9. Him as in Gendry's boss who reworked Ice into two swords? That just doesn't seem right, even for the books. Gendry's boss seems like he's been in business a while. Unless the show added the "only three smith's in the world can rework Valaryian steel", but tat seems like a very odd thing to change from book to TV. Why bother changing it at all?
  10. I'm gonna guess they have a pretty sweet blacksmith shop at the Red Keep. Making a dude that sailed across the ocean to do you a solid go down to the Street of Steel seems like a dick move.
  11. If you aren't listening to Tyson's podcast, you're missing out on some inside dirt. He said production was extremely pissed that they weren't blasting each other in the face. Tyson's thoughts on it were, "then set the game up right so we have some motivation to blast each other in the face." He's got a point. What is Angela's motivation to sabotage her closest ally in the house? He actually went first and showed everybody the cheat code. They figured out after he went that it would be more helpful to blast the runway and try to wash off as much soap as they could. That's why Angela was the only one spraying water directly into the lake instead of on the runway. My opinion is production needs to step their game up. In the regular challenge, you have maybe three people smart enough and motivated to figure out the challenge cheat codes. Wes, Devin, and Kam. The rest of the Challengers have the mental aptitude of a potato. This Challenge has about 10 Devins, so this basic bullshit isn't going to work on them.
  12. I don't think so. I interpreted Tywin saying that he had him brought over just to rework Ice into the two swords and then he sent him back home to Volantis. I could be wrong, but I don't think one of three guys in the world who can rework Valaryian steel would be hanging out in Flea Bottom.
  13. I think you'd have to go to Essos to get that done. No smith's in Westeros know how to rework Valyrian steel.
  14. No that was someone else. I had to look it up to confirm, but he is a few generations down the road. He was Prince Daemon great grandson. https://awoiaf.westeros.org/index.php/Daemon_I_Blackfyre
  15. I believe she turned on her own. I noticed that as well for some odd reason.
  16. No it wasn't. They hadn't starting chopping off junk when that noise happened. I missed it the first time so I just watched it again. That was an oddly placed fart.

Kyle needed to cut ties with his showmance a week ago, so he's fucked no matter what. Is it recency bias, or did Kyle torpedo his chances of winning over a showmance worse than anyone in BB history? He was in a great spot, and still would be if he had used the veto and let them backdoor her last week. I can't think of anyone who was in such a great position and let it all slip away for his showmance like he did. Truly undefeated. His only hope is to get all the houseguests the viewers do not like to band together and target the viewers' favorites. So he's leaving this house in disgrace no matter what he does.
  18. I guess this is the thread to ask this. We’re looking to get in a few rounds when we go up to DFW for the Texas ou game. I used to play Tenison Park when I lived there and am feeling nostalgic. Is the course ok? I think I read there are two 18 hole courses. Which one is better?
  19. I just finished rewatching it as well. Gotta get ready for House of Dragons. I'm curious if I'm alone in this opinion. Now that some time has passed and the wounds have healed, I didn't find the final season and the ending to be all that terrible. It could have been better, but it didn't seem as terrible and rushed as it did the first time I watched it.

I had to go look at the rest of your predictions. Not bad. As expected, total whiff on some but totally nailed a few of them.
  21. I love when Guillermo snaps. Any idea what the genie is always reading?

I did not have Taylor and Turner being the break out stars of this season.
  23. According to a podcast with one of the Challengers, finding out this week that none of the women want to work with him and everyone thinks he’s a joke was a wake up call. We’re gonna see a “ whole different Leo” going forward. We shall see.

I don't watch them, but I listed to a recap of the live feeds every day. She isn't the worst ever, but have you seen anything about her that makes her seem likeable in any way? I've hardly seen her at all actually. When she does talk, it's pretty much all about how much she hates Taylor. Viewers LOVE Taylor, so that's going to make her very unpopular if she can't control herself and keep her mouth shut. She's Brazilian, so controlling her temper and keeping her mouth shut should be a piece of cake. Since she isn't even playing the game, I'm not sure she even understands the game, I expect her to last a long time. Top 5 or 6 for sure since she is a complete lay up. Once we have less HGs, I'm thinking she might start getting more air time and I suspect what we'll see is not a nice person. I may be wrong, but nothing about her seems very likeable.
